Would people be against the coaster becoming a version of Cosmic Rewind?

Keep the Space Mountain theme but add spinning and more show moments?

I'd prefer a "blitz" style that Tokyo is doing but if they go the Cosmic Rewind route I certainly wouldn't hate that. Cosmic Rewind is my all-time favorite Disney coaster.

I'd idealy want to keep it more of a traditional coaster as the one next door fills that gimmick requirement.

Real question I have is, launched or lift hill?

A launch would make sense, also we have Big Thunder and Matterhorn already doing they are just normal coasters. Which is why I would bring up a way to make this one unique

I would not want anything like Cosmic Rewind.

Because we already have Cosmic Rewind. We don't have anything else like Space Mountain.

Disneyland's Space Mountain I would be much less precious about. Not just because I consider WDW my "home" resort of the two, and therefore inherently care a little more, but primarily because:

1. I don't think the layout is that special at Disneyland.
2. The exterior isn't as impressive as MK's.
3. There's nothing TRON or Cosmic Rewind-like at Disneyland, so the resort could use something like that.

So if Disneyland got a complete re-do as part of the revamped Tomorrowland, that would probably be pretty cool.

But I think there need to be some creative and historical guardrails guiding whatever happens at Magic Kingdom.
