I have not seen it but before the scrim went up on the JP side there was a photo of some rockwork forms at the lower right corner. Were they storing them there or did they do any rockwork down low?

It was the edge of the Potter-side rockwork.

It looks fine from Jurassic, and the new trees not only block the sides of it pretty well, but finally cover up the projectors, which were completely visible for the better part of a year by the arch!

In a year, we might not even notice the walls behind the bamboo if they let it spread.

I can be sure in a year we won't notice - on to bigger and better things! (to "notice")

Just to clarify, so people don't think I'm being sour or contrarian just for the sake of it, I think what Universal did with the JP side of the lockers is okay. It's fine.

Saying, "Gosh, it would have been nice if they'd done X," is not the equivalent of me saying, "How dare they not do X!" If given the option, I'd rather see more organic-looking landscaping than man-made structures in JP. That's the only opinion I was expressing.

Sorry to double - but here's our article:

New Locker area now open at Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Islands of Adventure

Universal Orlando has finally addressed the lockers at Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey by relocating the lockers into a brand-new area. The lockers are now located to the left of the attraction entrance, offering a much wider pathway. The new lockers also have been converted to the new tic

I understand what your concern is and agree, it will do and in our world it could be best if they had......

Literally sat on the knee wall in Alicia's photo this past weekend and it felt just fine for JP. Also walking through that area you have to physically move your head up to notice the castle, everything in your normal walking vision area feels JP. It'll be even better when the vegetation fills out.

I always wonder why they don't just do an enclosure over the pathway with vines all over it. It's not that wide or long.

More changes to Forbidden Journey, the soul-sucking effect that never worked seems to have been replaced with a projection of skulls instead.

That's the B-mode as far as I'm aware. Unless that's permanent now, the A-mode still works sometimes.

I mean it could be worse, they could just replace it with strobe lights and make them Disco Dementors.

That could actually be terrifying. They could get the Dementor right up in your face in the pitch black then hit it with a single strobe flash.
