Honestly I'm hoping it's just an original concept for the ending. Have it rain blood and multiple Art scareactors come at you or something!

Both Murdy and Alleio have posted about how much of a collaboration this was and how excited they are for it.

Awhile ago I read a review that stated that Terrifer is the horror movie you thought horror movies were when you saw the covers of scary movies at Blockbuster/Stores/etc

I think that the house is going to be what I thought HHN was based off the commercials when I was too young to attend the event

Only if you want to get wet.

I don’t know if that is the scene, but something like that is the only reason to justify a dry path.

So how many minutes till the first complaint when someone just followed the person in front of them into the wet path?

I'm honestly curious HOW wet we're going to get. On a level of TBA at Magic Kingdom or TBA at Disneyland... what will it be

Now that this one is announced, I'm happy for those who wanted to see this IP come to the event. I can imagine they're feeling the same way I felt for IP's and concepts that I wanted such as FNaF, Dolls, Galkn etc.

As for where this'll go in the anticipated rank for me, well I've alluded to it multiple times and flat-out said it when this was first strongly rumored, and I'm a man of my word. Right at #10. Personally for me, this is the first IP which I don't care for. Outside of good practical effects, and David Howard Thorton can do an excellent job of regular clowning around...I bounced off pretty hard on this series.

On top of that, I had a feeling if they were doing a house, the main selling point would be it's a very bloody/gory house, and that is exactly what they're doing. Thing is, that doesn't move the needle for me. Blood n' guts are a nice addition to houses where it fits, but it's usually never the thing that drives me to see a house. It's generally the theme, concept, creatures and so forth. I will say there IS and IP with a whole lotta' blood that I would see it for, but I'll get to that at the end.

Put those things together, plus the sheer fact this house will most likely get consistent big lines, and it's pretty logical why this is dead last in anticipation for me. Now with all that said, I'm still going in with an open mind and there's a chance I could end up liking it. In the past couple years there's been houses in my anticipated #10 rank which shot up into the top 3. (Lookin' at you, Exorcist: Believer and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire!) So there's always a chance it could happen, if not...then I'll just simply spend my time hitting up the houses which I do enjoy, nothin' wrong with that.

I'll also say I'm tickled by the sounds of this wet finale, might be a good (or bad?) thing I'm attending opening night depending how long it lasts. But if we're spraying/soaking folks, can we get a GWAR house please?

We’re just talking about water right? I know it’s “blood” and “gore” being splattered on the guests (like the “snot” in HISTA etc.), but Uni isn’t going to stain the guests’ clothing or something like that?

I am pretty sure, yes. I did once do a horror escape room where they used red dye and it did stain my clothes, and I was not thrilled. HHN is professional, so I wouldn't expect that issue here.

I would imagine it to be very similar to the Evil Dead house in 2013 where it rained "blood" in the last room. This was created via a sprinkler system and red lighting.

So maybe this is not a thing with the holding pen to wristband possible change, but getting soaked in a house after sitting in the blazing sun of a holding pen for hours would automatically make this the GOAT house of all time, for me personally lol! Then immediately run to Galkin: Monster of the North for added relief!

I know that they're saying how this is the "goriest", "bloodiest", "no punches pulled", etc. But I still feel like they're going to have to neuter this a bit.

There's no way they're doing THAT kill from the first movie. There's no way that they're having THAT part get cut off like it did in part 2. And I'm not sure how they would be able to do the shower kill from 3.

I'm honestly hoping that they lean into Art's more comedic aspects. Something like, we're there for the aftermaths of iconic scenes and the scares are him just hamming it up as we walk through.

they are hyping this house so much......
will it live up to the hype? will be as good as they say?
and they keep talking about how gory it is but nothing about how scary. I know the selling point is the gore and the water, sure, extremely gory, extremely wet. but will the gore just be puppets? or actors?

strongly completely disagree, hard disagree.
I don't want to walk around hhn with wet shoes and wet clothes. no matter how hot it is outside. that's gonna be horrible.

are people gonna slip and fall?
will there be injuries? how wet will the final room be? will they mop it constantly?

Whenever they have a scene (or scenes) that are particularly wet, they’ll try to build them so water doesn’t pool. That typically involves laying rubber grids out so water can “seep.”

I imagine this one will be specifically designed with a slightly raised floor so water can go somewhere without a constant need to manually clear it.

This is where I stand on it. I think they could find a way to balance claustrophobic scenes where you are Art’s target and iconic kill scenes from the movies and knock it out of the park, but I think if people get what they think they want (amalgamation of static set pieces with one Art actor per scene doing his thing), this could end up disappointing some folks. Very curious how they’ll approach it!

it will end up exactly like SAW which was rooms with set pieces. which a lot of people were disappointed with.
the difference here will be Art going wild and crazy which will help.
