Sort of a shrug for me (not the biggest fan of the franchise) but I think it'll be a decent maze.

I am really excited for this one. The fact that it is focused on Terrifier 2 and that funhouse is especially exciting as I think that is the best of the franchise. Some of the Christmas stuff from Terrifier 3 is fine, but I wouldn't want a house that is too heavy on Santa Art versus the OG design.

Here's the press release synopsis

"During Halloween Horror Nights, guests will experience an unfathomable level of gore as they try to escape becoming Art the Clown’s next victim. “Terrifier” is a grisly haunted house oozing with a new sense of terror that takes guests into Art the Clown’s gruesome Funhouse, which first appeared in Terrifier 2.

Guests will be overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, smells and dread of Art’s grotesque kills, gleefully displayed for all to see. As fans make their way through the claustrophobic corridors, they will encounter familiar faces, including Vicky and the Little Pale Girl, and witness iconic kills from the franchise. Chaos reigns at the Clown Café, terror festers in a revolting bathroom and holiday cheer turns deadly in a Christmas nightmare. Guests must escape Art’s twisted world—or become his next gruesome display."

Also merch!

The “whole new level of gore…”

I can see how they’re leaning that way with their wet/dry ending options.

The rumor says “dual path” but that feels more like an accessibility path when they do a tilted floor…

I can’t wait to see what Art Crispies-inspired dish the food and beverage team cooks up.

Pretty excited for this. Casual fan of movies but think Art is a great main character for a house. Description reads heavy on the “featuring Art’s kills” piece, which I expected, though I do think that is somewhat risky (albeit no other way to do this house than featuring the iconic kills on some level). I think traditionally the “kills” focused houses can appear cheaper / less intense (thinking of Saw / Chucky UKK). Still hopeful Art as a character can sell it.

I know that they're saying how this is the "goriest", "bloodiest", "no punches pulled", etc. But I still feel like they're going to have to neuter this a bit.

There's no way they're doing THAT kill from the first movie. There's no way that they're having THAT part get cut off like it did in part 2. And I'm not sure how they would be able to do the shower kill from 3.

I'm honestly hoping that they lean into Art's more comedic aspects. Something like, we're there for the aftermaths of iconic scenes and the scares are him just hamming it up as we walk through.

Tilted floor potentially returning is exciting! Could also see the return of the vortex in here with the funhouse theme.

I'd buy a Terrifer-branded poncho without hesitation.

... Uhhh, that sounds like a lot more than the usual mist sprayers and more on the line of what they do at Evil Dead: The Musical...

All the talk of ponchos screams to me that the ending is the shower scene from 3 and water is just going to be sprayed all over you from the chainsaw as you walk by.
