I didn’t see the tweet, but most likely this means that there will be some mini preshow outside with a scareactor or two. Just like they did with TLoU or KKfOS. No way they would have a hard preshow where you stop in a room and wait. That would destroy throughout.

Yeah hopefully its not a real show show...like sorry but the lines take too long as is and that would kill this houses line movement

Art coming out and doing some tricks or something would make more sense

Also watched the first Terrifier and....yeah it was not that fun. Art is a great design so I think its going to work for HHN and I am watching the second film now which at least has some longer set up before the killing starts

Pandora's Box had a preshow where you stopped and waited for "the box" to open. Could be something like that, where the operations side of things has the option of skipping it

I think I'm with you on this tbh. I think they could do a legit preshow, but I think haunts in general (Shadowlands, Mesmer, Pandoras Box) have tended to ditch their preshows fairly quickly, so I kinda think they still dont have a good handle on how to actually make it work yet, unless they start doing more structured mazes like D&D where they stagger people in every room and not just the beginning.
Along with that, I think I saw another tweet where someone asked if there would be "a scareactor" in front that Murdy confirmed, so the lack of plural scareactors in that confirmation makes me think small scale like 10 second show scene with 1 actor. Obviously thats a semantic issue in a q&a post but I doubt theyre gonna do anything super extravagant.

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if it's just something like the Little Pale Girl from the second movie or disfigured Victoria out in front of the house just being weird. (Or, conversely, Sienna out there trying to warn people off from going on.)

The presentation at Midsummer for this was pretty gnarly. I loved the whole "oh you're not gonna do that kill -- YES WE ARE." I've been saying it since the beginning, Horror Nights in real life is more violent than any movie so there's literally no reason to shy away from ANY of the kills in this franchise. Is it in poor taste? Maybe. But so is the franchise as a whole. Not my type of thrill movie-wise, but I think this will make for a pretty insane maze. The first half seemed pretty inspired, the second half I wasn't sure if it was as fun -- just seemed like a bunch of bathroom and food stuff. Again, I haven't thoroughly seen these movies, so I don't know the references and if those things matter to the fans, but to me it seemed a bit lackluster in terms of a carnival. But the chicken exit definitely got my interest back up.

I feel like it'll prob just be an alternate ending, the wording seemed careful to both hype it up but also not promise too much.

You’d be better off watching just the kill scenes on YouTube. The movies are genuinely atrocious.

I have tried the FIlms

I think Art is a great Iconic but the for the life of me the films are not fun....something about them just do not click like say Halloween, or Conjuring or even Saw

No idea why I just can't get into these films but I will say I'm excited to see how R they Go, I have been going to HHN for 15 years on and off and just never thought it was that scary in a long time so would love some scenes that do really disturb me, the water effects on the other hand....whatever I've yet to meet a person who likes how Universal or any company throws water at you is fun on Splash or a rapids ride its fun because its caused by chance but spraying me with fake blood just seems more annoying then scary for me but maybe it will cool us down...i dont know



Also is it confirmed Art will be roaming both parks....because if so please let this be a new thing having an Icon or Icons all around the park for scaring and photo ops is a dream of mine for this event

Considering how it was worded, I genuinely wonder if it's just going to be a "Fork" in the queue before the Bathroom segment, allowing people the ability to avoid that scene; but getting something else. I really think Murdy would do a carny if he's genuinely going in to experiment like this.

Also, a note, but I think this is the first GAT house Hollywood has done too since a long while. The Clown Cafe seems to have something of the sort.

That's why I think the "Chicken Exit" is going to be right there, because it'd be a fork to allow people the option to not go through the bathroom (but still have to go through everything else).

I have express the first night so I will be checking out both versions

I'm also glad I am here night one....I have a feeling they might have to tone down somethings later...I hope I'm wrong but the house sounds like a real nightmare and not sure if the general public will be ready for this....I told my wife if I think she will hate it that I will show here a video first because I know if she will hate it then better to not go in it for her at all
