This is the Nintendo Land rides that don't break down all day like the brand new ones at Epic, right? The question is....WHY?

The same reason the Indy ride over in Japan doesn't break down as much as here in the states

They want to make the best product they can, while here its all about money. If it costs too much in the US, who cares if the guest suffer they will come back because we are the only place with a Nintendo land

Because it's the only park the land was designed around.

I'm doubtful of that, since USH hasn't had issues nearly to the same degree. It is more likely attributed to the fact that Epic Universe has more complex attractions that require constant maintenance, and their resources are spread more thin.

Wasn’t the DK version in Japan having a ton of issues at one point just like ours in the states ?

Rides breakdown that’s normal.

DK has issues period. You could overclock that sucker and still only get 30fps (Fools Per available Seat).

Yes, when I went in July it had an extended delay and was down half of one of the days I was there and the entire 2nd day. It has a lot of issues.

Osaka potentially having a much higher presence from Nintendo themselves has to factor in, at least a bit. It's not an especially common occurance for that to happen at Epic, so things can skate by a bit more.

I agree with the above point from @mccgavin though. I think the primary factor is it being in Epic itself. If SNW was added to USF like it was planned to, it might look a little cleaner than it does now. SNW is an already complex land, DKC even moreso, that is now saddled on the same team trying to keep Unchained, Battle, the Dragon robots, etc from exploding on a daily basis haha.

and that would dovetail into the thoughts I've expressed on the Epic threads that Epic doesn't have an adequate number of
maintenance and tech crews to handle what is probably a more problem laden park than they anticipated at this stage. It behooves
Universal Executives to fix that personnel issue, if in fact there is one. Either that, or the personnel they have are being asked to
do more than their skill level warrants.....All three Nintendo attractions experience high levels of downtime.
