Really eager to see a POV and what people think. The first tweets that I’ve seen today have mentioned that it’s more intense than they expected and a few have mentioned shaking or side-to-side swaying, which has me worried. Reception looks positive though!!

Also: no restrooms in Donkey Kong Country. Hope Epic’s version doesn’t have that issue.

I wonder if it’s because of that big u-turn curve? Two minutes is a great length.

Tbh I kinda expected a little bit of sway. The track connection isn't below you like it normally is. I just hope it isn't damaging anything.

Minor complaints that you get (a little) wet riding over the water feature part, but looks great from off ride watching.

Most posts I’m translating are being very good about not revealing interior scene spoilers though, so still more to learn when we start seeing full reviews.

Even if I might not personally dig into these reports until experiencing the ride myself, I would love to know what Japanese sources you're looking at for this! I think it's very interesting to see a whole separate side of theme park fandom. Reminds me a lot of the Source Gaming team's work in translating Japanese forum and Twitter posts regarding Smash Bros reveals, it's really really cool! It's pretty fun to see outside of our English-speaking internet bubble.

For some reason I was under the impression the Japan version didn’t have the water feature.

The golden temple monkey mouth in Donkey Kong Country doesn't spew out water unlike in Orlando, only mist in the Japan park. However, there is still a small pond in both parks where the minecarts do go through.

Glad to see it's finally open, and I kinda' expected hearing reports of the side-to-side motion considering what the whole setup is for the carts on the boom arms. Though I think that'll add to the experience a bit as this is a rickety as all heck mine cart.
