I imagine if they do Falls Lake for a theme park, they won't opt in doing the walking method and will opt to do a form of "Transport" not unlike that of a Hogwarts Express.

They do walking for HHN because it's the only way of doing it that doesn't disrupt the Terror Tram's flow. If they do it for Falls Lake, it will need to be with something that doesn't require ADA shuttles to be a constant.

Believe way back in the finalized plans of the Evolution Plan; with the exclusion of what had became Supercharged--the WoTW sets and the Psycho sets would've become for studio purposes in the light of a set of "massive" soundstages. I doubt that's the plan now, as they need to finish Park Lake's soundstages before they can do anything; but they have had inclinations to have studio adopt some of that space (atleast, when they got it approved when they did).

They're not going to make a whole section of the park only or primarily accessible via transportation. Hogwarts Express gets a 60 minute wait most of the day and having to wait in a line like that, then a line for any rides in the land, then a line to get back to the park seems like a nightmare. Then there's the whole maintenance factor. Hogwarts Express goes down frequently for short periods at a time and multiple days at a time for scheduled maintenance. How would you get to the land when that happens?

It's just a logistical nightmare no matter how you look at it. It's too far to walk and transportation won't cut it.

I also fail to see the Falls Lake expansion happening anytime soon, if ever.

I’ll celebrate when it’s gone from Orlando. I didn’t mind it as part of the Studio Tram.

I feel the exact same way. I did not hate the Hollywood version when i rode it. Turning it into a full stand alone attraction was always the problem and it will continue to be a stain on Universal's record as long as it remains open in Orlando

Admittedly it was an upgrade from the old spinning tunnel (I know, blasphemy) but I will not shed a single tear over this getting replaced.

I must have missed when this became as hated as it is in Orlando. I mean, is it my favorite thing in the park? No, and it's not like I believe it's anyone else's, either, but man -- y'all are acting like you just won the lottery or something lol.

I'll always have fond memories of this, especially the early days. I thought it was really cool and ambitious and it really sparked some needed life in the Tour. Hopefully whatever is next does the same.

I don't know, I remember this being a disappointment when it opened in Hollywood. I think some of that had to do with the bizarre marketing of calling it a "ride" (anyone else remember the commercials with the lap bar?) and people honestly not understanding that it was an attraction within an attraction.

I do think that lead up with the Charger and the security story did make it feel a little more fleshed out. Chipping that kind of stuff away of the years definitely didn't do it any favors. I am certainly happy to have something else replace it, preferably not something that requires 3D glasses.

I'm not referring to the GP though, I meant theme park enthusiasts who would have understood what this was despite the weird marketing. People will hate this take, but my personal read here is LA people saw how much Orlando people hated it and just started to parrot that sentiment back.

The biggest issues with this experience is exactly what you said: they scaled back the presentation and just turned it into another perfunctory stop for the tram. If it was still as elaborately presented today as it was when it opened, I think people would still have affection for it.

Honestly, I feel like people straight forgot that stuff even happened. I remember sometime last year, I was on it with friends who go as much as me and I was like, "Remember when they used to do this and that," and they were like, "Uhhhh, no."

I seem to recall the theme park enthusiast crowd was actually more critical than the GP, which isn't really shocking. I could be misremembering, of course. Either way, it was clearly bad enough that it got pulled from the Universal Beijing attraction slate.

Here is to hoping the next thing is great!

Yeah, I guess I just completely missed that. And like I said, I'm not under the impression that it was anyone's favorite but I would have thought it was indifference, at worst. But everyone in here is acting like Supercharged stole their lunch money or something lol.

Well, it was the seed that was planted that ended up growing into the monstrosity at Studios Florida. :P

I’ll agree with that last statement.

It’s still a theme park ride at the end of the day.

Even when I rode it back in 2015, I found it to be very underwhelming. Cannot understate how distracting a man the size of a helicopter is. It was a bit mote elaborate back then and still not the warm crime that is Orlando.

But it still isn't good.

Edit: Oml I didn't realize Orlando uses the exact same key art as Hollywood. All they did was draw over the tram, lmao.

I mean, Shaw literally screams "Call in the drones!" Doesn’t make the scenario much less absurd, but I expect absurdity from Fast and Furious lol. I just roll my eyes

Drones lining up a missile shot!
Not gonna happen!

I want to add that the tram gets hit with like 4 missiles despite Dom insisting that it's, in fact, "Not gonna happen".
