If they ever update the Tram screens/Audio I would like to see this more

Like your filming every day on the lot and basically nothing they show even on TV is more then clips of films that were shot there (most 20+ years ago) why not have another camera set up and show building and area's behind the scene style. Once upon a time in hollywood was shot here and then add a clip showing the actors on the sets your diring next to, so people get more excited and have a sense of how the sets trick you when filmed.

Also do we know why USH doesn't try to have more of their films on the lot? F&F just came out and I'm assuming they didn't shoot one scene on the lot because they never talked about it, oppinhimer, Jurassic World 3, Wicked Megan.....etc. Just Even one scene in most Universal films could help freshen up the tour to feel more like its being used

I hear you, but so much goes into deciding where and how a film of that scope is shot - trying to boost the immediate relevancy of the park's studio tour is not high on their radar.

The Spanish tour actually ROCKS. The guides are legitimately so charismatic and full of energy. It’s also kind of funny, lol.

They certainly could add some clips of recent shows/movies. Every time we drive thru Colonial street, the guide mentions that Never Have I Ever was filmed there, and points out the main house. Yet the clips shown are mostly from Desperate Housewives.

Just after that, driving thru wilderness road, it's always mentioned that Bird Box filmed there, yet nothing is shown on screen.

I think it's worth keeping in mind that part of the reason people [tourists] are so excited about going on the tram is because of the old/legacy shows and films that are still featured on the tour.

Absolutely keep the Hollywood history. I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I wish they would remove the Good Place theme from Little Europe, and add some classic Monsters to the area.

I feel like the tour highlights 3 things: "Peeling back the curtain" and showcasing movie magic; Classic Hollywood, and the modern entertainment industry. I think it's a great tour, but some mild tweaks could make it even better

The Fountain Area used to be more themed and no Idea why that changed

I love the Good Place , so I'm bias and Like the front of the town being the GP but for sure the fountain area should be themed to classic monsters

The show trailers didn't grab me but its a very good show, its only 4 seasons and at least to me is a show I'll be rewatching (once I finish rewatching the office)

I did! I actually really liked it. Nothing better than laughing through an existential crisis in a tight 23 minutes.

Also, any of those would be great hosts.

its ratings were pretty solid over a four season run. I don’t know how much it lives in the current imagination, but frankly that feels true for most shows released in the last 15 years.

Oh, man. I loved it. One of the best series finales of all time, in my opinion, too, and everyone I know who has watched it (admittedly, a very slim number) all love it as well. Didn't expect it to be my thing, and I only decided to watch it in its entirety when the final season was announced and a friend of mine who'd kept swearing I'd love it finally wore me down, but I'm glad I did. I definitely appreciate going through there now. At least when the tram goes through it, I still occasionally hear people get excited when they recognize it from the show.

Conversely, every time that footage of the actors from Bel Air come on to do their thing, it's been dead silent each and every time because I'm 99% sure you could probably count on one hand how many people seem to have heard of it on any given tram.

That Bel-Air clip is terrible. I saw it for the first time yesterday, and I get what they were going for but it’s a complete failure…

Got a great idea. Universal could set a 'kill the lousy slow attraction, promo, we care about our guest's tastes', and shut down F&F Supercharged at both Hollywood and USF on the same day. "Throw Out the Trash Day" . ;) :lmao:

Idk I feel like after earthquake comes back, and once the rollercoaster opens, its gone. I think its from a guest experience, can't imagine 2 rides on the same IP that will just be confused for one another if they were to be open at the same time. they already confuse super charged as its own ride still.

talking about history and the future, do we think fallon days are numbered too? espesially with some of the stuff coming out again with him being an overall !@$hole

edit to avoid double posting, yeah I agree with dead by dawn below. the studio tour is really outdated. I think its because the way movies are made now isnt about the big sets and the realism

I rode the Studio Tour last week for the first time in a while. We had a phenomenal guide who genuinely felt like he loved Universal (he said he had been there since the 90's!). We were taken by Courthouse Square which was nice, although my wife was little bummed that we didn't see Wisteria Lane as she has been re-watching Desperate Housewives, haha.

The tram is still excellent but personally those 3D shows really pull you out of it. Supercharged just looks straight up bad, and King Kong is just dated. I think the tour could benefit some from much needed TLC.

Maybe

I think the Tram....is still in limbo. Like I see people here talking about F&F being taken out....maybe when the new ride opens but even then your closing it for the the Tram to have less (even if I don't care for it)

I think the park is still looking into how it will move forward after F&F because at some point they have to pull the trigger if Fall's Lake is being used for more theme park space or not and then the entire Tram layout will have to change.....so they night take out Jimmy but sadly I don't think any big chnages coming to this ride for until a few years from now

I agree to me the Tour is like Tomorrowland at Disneyland....and has need big changes for a while but they are waiting for the higher up's to make up their mind on the future of the park before I think anything will happen

I'd Love Kong area/the falling bridge to be redone focus more on Animatronic's......Earth Quake and Jupiter's Claim will stay around....I'd also love Jaws section to be improved with some new tech and I really just want a finale that honor's as many classic, and modern day classic's as they can

I would love the 3D/screen based additions to go away. I remember the collapsing bridge being awesome when I was a kid. I don't think that would knock people socks off today, but I do think seeing more "real" backlot and movie making techniques could be a benefit. Earthquake is a good example of that.

It's funny you bring up Jupiter's Claim. Our guide went really into the sound design element of what Peele and his team created for Nope. I think that shows how your guide can really be a large make or break element of the whole tour.
