The thing that makes me kind of want to interject, is that when it comes to space being limited; I do think that kind of applies to what you can do with certain spaces, and the problems that come regardless.
Waterworld is landlocked in a space where you can't really do something to the extent of a full scale land, due to Take 5, Feature Presentation, Animation Studio Store, and Hollywood & Dine locking it into itself in a way that doesn't make it idea. And to that extent, USH needs to have a major show be consistently present for the spring/summer/fall periods.
To that end...Waterworld's a show that has been with USH for over 30 years. And while the show is still one of the best USH has done...what if they could have a chance to fully go into the theater, and modernize it in ways that could allow something new? Keep core components, but perhaps evolving it in ways you can't with Waterworld.
I also think with anime, that we might actually finally be in uncharted waters for the sake of future endeavors. We know full well the potential legacy brands can have, and depending on what IP they could look at; the possibilities for permanence might hit resoundingly well with the Los Angeles/SoCal area.
