This sounds crazy but I am so pumped for this hotel. It’d be amazing to stay on-site and get perks. I hate driving from a motel like miles away back to the park (especially with that horrid LA morning rush). I could also like access a bus and explore the rest of the nearby area with ease. Im sad construction hasn’t really started because I really want to see what this looks like.

(I have never stayed at an on-site hotel before).

I don't live very far away, so I wouldn't stay here, but best believe if they were to have some sort of cool themed bar or something with unique drinks, especially during spooky season, like some of the resort hotels in Orlando, I'd absolutely swing by to "warm up" before events like Fan Fest or HHN.

If the hotel is in a similar price range to the Hilton and Sheraton, I could see myself staying there. Normally, I don't feel any need to splurge on a fancy hotel, but for USH in particular, it is very convenient being close to the park.

I’m genuinely pumped for what it means of CityWalk during nighttime. This will give Universal an excuse to fully invest in beefing up activities beyond the Cinemas and Escapology, and I hope that means Howl @ The Moon can be restored, and that they bring another additional experience.

I remember as a kid, the energy of Early 2010s CityWalk was a vibe, and it’s my hope we can see it partially restored to that vibe however much we can. I’ll even take if the hotel has a small concert venue.

I want USH to receive investment but I do not want USH to receive a new form of income. I am a much better theme park fan than everyone else.

In seriousness, I am excited at the prospect of a hotel as well. I think during HHN it would be tempting for even me, a local. I hate getting out of the park so late and not getting home until 3am. A hotel being right there? Man, I'd love that.

Via Reddit, USH Citywalk operated stores are becoming cashless. Dining venues seem to be coming next.

They need their own Trader Sam's in addition to a standard, no frills lounge. An enchanted prop warehouse could be fun. Get the actual table top from Coyote Ugly, do a light show when someone orders the "Flux Capacitor," and sell me a tiki mug shaped like the tram!

Well yeah, but disney and universal are in the unique positions to pump serious money and nostalgia into their hyper whimsical ventures.

The knotts saloon, hershey's chocolate bar (if such a thing exists), etc just don't have the same cachet

The Positives
4th of July is 2 days
Mega Movie Summer Event

The Wishes for 2027
Some sort of event in the early year, a food event, Lunar New years...anything like Knotts, Disneyland and sea World do
HHN starting in September still after this year you'd think we'd start when Orlando does but still have to keep hoping one day both events start the same weekend

Also now if you buy an AP you get an extra 3 months on some of the passes

So I will be doing that deal once my pass is done next month, great deal

Crazy that we were supposed to have a proper food festival at USH but the issue was it was supposed to start April 2020.

We were that close but hopefully they’ll try again.
