IF we do get another attraction, the only other possibility I can think of is a DWT overlay. If they can speed that up for next year as well, that would be amazing!

They could be talking about the Supercharged replacement, but seeing how that building has seen no activity since March…I seriously doubt it.

Maybe dream works but a new attraction in 12 months would be pretty insane

honestly if I was Universal I’d be having meetings right now to gauge the potential of a FNaF daytime walkthrough attraction in UBE, that could debut during HHN and then just stick around, but that’s just me.

To me the next major overlay for the DWT would be Shrek. But with Shrek 5 delayed to 2027 they might push it back unless a Shrek DWT film doesn't have too many spoiler elements from Shrek 5. Or if they start to promote Shrek 5 a new DWT film could be part of their marketing strategy.

If there even was an overlay planned, they could very well just release it anyway since it will be ready to be delivered...if that's even a thing.

I'm personally leaning more towards us just overthinking the wording. They could very well mean a new street performance or something small.

Eh… daytime walkthrough attractions never survive. I think it’s best to keep these things limited to special events like HHN.

I genuinely think FNAF would transcend the traditional norms for a daytime walkthrough, because you could just rely on blackout performers and animatronics.

It’d be more of a proper “Attraction”, but not as a dark ride or anything like what Sally proposed back in the day. Having the ability to have a daytime walkthrough FNAF attraction could be a big play to have something that’d work year round for all audiences due to the range of the IP.

Have to think merch sales are strong to genuinely have it in consideration.

Looks like it's time to circle back to the "What about a year-round haunt for USH" discussion again.

There was another IP back in the 2010's that was almost this successful and ended up being a year-round walkthru from its success at HHN: The Walking Dead.

As successful as it was (Admittedly not quite at FNAF levels), it featured a year-round walkthru and it ultimately flopped. Basically was no longer than a 10-minute wait every day, even on weekends. It was the lowest-rated attraction at the park when it was around. It was no wonder it only lasted four years. Also House of Horrors was the lowest-rated attraction in the park for a while before it closed. But it may be hard to believe now, but the Walking Dead was big and I mean, freaking BIG back in the day. If there was any IP to base a year-round haunt out of, it was absolutely that show....and it still failed.

They won't do a year-round haunt again because it has been a proven failure, at least for the long-term. It's too scary for the normal GP and too boring for the HHN crowd. Not to mention they have to staff actors year-round which cost mucho deñero.

So yeah, they're not going to have a year-round FNAF walkthru. I think the most you will see is a repeat run at HHN next year, which I think is extremely likely given how much that house cost.

That would be so insanely popular

Like even if it opened at noon and closed at 6 it would draw huge crowds and be crowded all the time

Plus you can upgrade it for another HHN after the sequel is out

FNAF has proven it’s not just a hit but can sell merch so would be such a win

Sadly the creator won’t allow a pizza restaurant

Also this is different from the walking dead that added that years after the hype, the second film is coming out and the audience is kids not older people so those saying it will fad…I’m sorry not for a few years if they do it now
Plus if they update it for HHN then can keep it fresh

I do think FNAF has something The Walking Dead doesn't/didn't: popularity with younger generations, including children. For better or worse, FNAF has proven to be enduring gateway horror and thus appears to be more accessible than something like TWD. It's also inherently more merchandisable.

Not saying they'd invest in a year-round attraction, but I think those distinctions are worth noting.

I’m pretty confident in one based on a house that gets a 3 hour wait every night that they could easily get huge lines yearly
Especially if it opens at 12 pm - 6 pm
