Heads up they have select data with discount tickets for the event for the next 72 hours

Also how much were tickets last year? Tickets are now 75 bucks for just general (and this is on sale)

Yes but those should be cheaper nights

Its been like 3 years since I went but thought tickets were 50ish or less dollars for general tickets

Which is why Im asking for what they cost last year.

The tickets aren’t cheap at all unless you get season pass.

So if I have an AP, then I should just wait to buy tickets then?

I'm curious to know how much they'll be charging for the VIP viewing.

My plan is to park and watch them from the outside of the park and get out of there before the crowds get insane to leave

Hearing reports Superman is officially done. Rumor is its server room exploded yesterday after overheating, and knowing SFMM, they will find it easier to replace the attraction over fixing it. Another SFMM SBNO attraction.

Still looking to confirm this, but wow.

An ironic fate given the theme of the attraction.

What could Replace it? I mean wouldn't this affect Lex Luthor ride as well if they tore it down?

Don’t worry everyone, I’m sure they’ve got Zamperla on the line and they’ll come in and fix everything.

My guess is Lex Luther would continue to operate, while Superman will become the new Sky Tower just sitting as a relic indefinitely.

If this is true, that’s definitely the nail in the coffin. They’ve pumped way too much money into this ride over the years.

Don’t forget, they sent out that concept a few years back using the structure but ripping out the tracks to turn the ride into a true strata coaster….. just food for thought.

I’ve always wonder if that ride could be updated using today’s technology. After all, that ride is using tech from nearly 30 years ago

Also, does this mean that was the fire that was reported in the park yesterday?

Anything can happen, the question is whether Cedar Fair *ahem* Six Flags is willing to put money into transforming such a troubled ride into a modern troubled ride that would complete with their troubled ride in Ohio. Keeping in mind that Intamin is likely out of the picture now.

You would think someone would have picked up this by now if it was true given
A: anything that goes boom is usually covered by the local media
B its an iconic ride

Assuming Superman is done, I'd have to think they could try their hand to dismantle the "tracked" portion of the ride, but keep the tower, right?

Tower of Terror at DreamWorld when it bit the dust did exactly that; with downtime needed to ensure things were safely removed. Would have to think OSHA would want to keep any potential risk-factors to be mitigated to nill.

Adding on, perhaps this might be why we are seeing a delay with Project 2025; as they were waiting on what'd happen with Superman?
