This is pretty monumental.. Haven't those walls in front of Shrek been up since Universal Plaza was under construction?

It's honestly unrecognizable! I like how it sorta resembles a tidy swamp haha.

One of the numerous nice touches in the beautiful Shrek queue are the misters.  The mist comes from the trees and looks so natural.  Also, as Inside Universal tweeted, the queue looks sensational at night.

Ok, now it REALLY looks like a fancy swamp! I absolutely love that! I also bet it didn't have a huge budget, but they did some fantastic work with it!

Jon after guests walk thru the new queue, can guests still see the great view construction of Hogwarts? Or did Universal put trees or bushes to cover it? Thank you for the great updates !

Not big news, but they've added a themed snack cart area just behind Donkey's Waffle Cart. They sell generic snacks and drinks here.

It seems the new entrance may finally be complete. The permanent wait time sign is now installed to the right of the attraction sign, and if you look closely, there's a Gate A sign with Gingy on it to the left:

It's hard to see in this shot, but the permanent warning display board is also installed to the left of the overhang in front of the new Gate A sign. It faces guests as they enter the queue, so you can only see it from a profile in this photo.

I noticed new turnstile-ish gates at the Shrek exit (photo).  I guess it prevents confused guests from trying to enter that way.  Turnstiles were at the end of the tram tour, too, near the VIP tour boarding area (no photo).

Yep, similar exit gates were at the exit of Shrek before the queue was redone.

Yup. Same sign, except the side that faced what was once Curious George is now facing Universal Plaza.
