Seaworld seems to be stepping it back up in terms of new rides and attractions. But falling behind in maintenance and operations

I may be going back in early August as I haven’t been back since holiday season ‘23. I am really disappointed hearing how much has crapped the bed with its ops. I really hope Arctic Rescue will e open by the time I go as that’s disappointing that their newest coaster is STILL DOWN(?).

It is open today it’s been open sense last August it’s just suffering from reliability issues

Oh okay that’s good. Hopefully everything will be open when I go.

It has been five years since they added any new ride. Hopefully they’ll get going on that B&M wing coaster that we were supposed to get years ago. Doesn’t sound like that will happen anytime soon with the whole Sesame Workshop lawsuit going on.

The park president has also stated that they want to reinvest in the animal side of the park and have multiple projects that need to get built before the next new coaster so I imagine it will be a bit till the next new ride.

There was a survey sent out recently to pass holders (except me somehow) asking for opinions on future ride additions, including a surf coaster and a flying theater. So even if those are all just concepts, it does suggest the park is looking to build a major new ride at some point in the foreseeable future.

A flying theater is something the park could really use. They need to have an indoor ride of some sort.

If they’re going to add a new coaster, I don’t think a surf coaster is it. I honk a B&M wing would be great for the park

I'm honestly cool with this...they don't do many fireworks show any more. So maybe we can get Drone shows more offend.

Also heard the Puffins exhibit has now closed at the end of the Penguin exhibit

They are keeping the Fake outside on the Upper Level?

Thats a HUGE win in my book, I'm so happy it won't all be "clean and sleek"

Glad....they finally finished it

Better then nothing. I think the fountains at the bend are just the best part because they bring life to the area

The ride is what is is and wish they had the money to really theme it but....I get it not in the books because they can barley make money

Not shown in the video but there's also an audio cue right after the final splash down with something along the lines of "watch out, the Kraken is right behind you!" followed by a couple big water jet blasts.

Overall I think it's slowly starting to come together thematically, though I do wish they'd add that missing flooding effect in the pre-elevator room and a projection in front of the elevator.

Also... oof. That projection tunnel in Manta is still half broken after like a year.

This has always been my favorite part of this park

I was soooo worried it would be all clean and boring....thank god they kept the themeing upstairs and the bottom area looks nice enough. Very Happy one day when I come back the attraction will mostly just be an improvement

Note if they could do something like this for the Penguins that would be great too. The Penguins is also really great but for sure would not mind them adding more to the viewing area above the moving path

The problem with the penguins that the building its self needs major structural work and improvements

I also looked up the summer events

So no character show but they are getting an animal learning show instead which I prefer, not only are the Dolphins coming back with a new show but it looks like the Dolphins and Whales are getting new night time shows along with the new Drone show

Overall I am happy to see at least with entertainment they are doing their best to draw people.

So glad they are at least trying and wish SS down the way was getting this kind of love...but have a feeling SS Place is set to die, so they aren't going to invest any more into it
