Apparently there’s now word that the next addition to the park is (another) launched coaster of some sort…

Is it time for the Jet Rescue coaster to find its way to SWO?

Laid out a few locations that don't require much removal of existing areas.
  • Jet Rescue Option A - pushes people into the area and would make a nice welcoming addition to the park's entrance if it interacts with the lighthouse.
  • Jet Rescue Option B - similar to San Antonio's version, not sure where to place the station though.
  • Indoor Coaster - Similar to BGW's addition, could expand into the parking (could also be another Jet Rescue coaster)

Other than these areas marked, SeaWorld might start to remove existing areas. They've done a great job at avoiding having to remove anything substantial... so it'll be interesting to see where this goes.

*I could see a megaproject where the Potential Use area is for a huge new launch coaster, but not sure if this will be a big project. BGT needs a significant marketing boost in the next year or two to get people down there.

I was thinking if it is the jet ski coaster that it goes out over the lake like the Texas version.

Hypothetically speaking...maybe not? They could do similar to San Diego with Arctic Rescue--with some modifications.

It'd be padding the West side of the park to be sure, but it might be a quick and cheap option.

EDIT:

Barring infastructural changes that would be needed..this wouldn't be far off.

I know, I know, park ops and the GP (and for that matter, most thoosies) don't care, but goddamn I miss lift hills.

Six Flags South. Coaster fans always wanted a coaster park in Orlando. Now they have it.....and basically managed just like most of the regional coaster parks.

Can one of SW or BG relocate their animals, we NEED a park with SF prices here in FL (beyond just an FEC)!

Nothing builds anticipation like a lift hill, always made a coaster FEEL longer too. I’m cool with launches but I love a solid lift hill. Dueling Dragon/Challenge was one of my favorites.

I'm hoping it's one of the newer-gen Vekomas that have great airtime.

This gave me a good laugh. As if Sea World has the proper budget to pull any of these ideas off, especially the jeep one.

Fwiw, I can see them figuring out a deal to have them get the first NA Rockin Boat. Especially considering of the risk that it hasn’t even debuted its prototype with Mission Bermuda at Objectif Mars.

Aren’t their parks doing good financially ?

Also if they partner with someone like for instance Mack Rides they could create something that’s on the cheaper side but nice.

Have you seen their new flight simulator? A letter of the sign literally fell on someone. Doesn’t scream “doing good financially” imo

That can happen anywhere to be honest.

I don’t understand do you want them to fail ???

Forgive me for being cynical, as I really want Sea World to thrive and provide a great park! They just don’t have a great track record with dark rides.

Financially they are doing well, but that’s not reflected inside the parks with short staffed restaurants, rides running at reduced capacity and poor upkeep.

It’s not hard to see that they’re running the parks at the bare minimum required.

That’s unfortunate.

I bet some of those decisions like short staff restaurants are a reflection to save on costs and also the economy.

That industry went through huge shift after Covid and hasn’t really recovered since.

The jeep one was for BGT, so basically they're asking people if they should rebuild Rhino Rally? Just build the giga you cowards.

I know you two agree with each other because I saw that you liked his previous criticizing them which is fine.

If you don’t see it for them that’s okay.
