Catching up on this thread, it’s funny to see people worry about the Muppets getting used on a high-thrill coaster. When in fact, the two Nickelodeon Universe parks have thrilling coasters based on SpongeBob, an IP that is even more designated for kids than the Muppets are.

The theming is the talk here though. Nickelodeon may theme the coasters to SpongeBob but there's barely any theming at all throughout the ride itself or within the queue. It feels like a Six Flags case where they just slap whatever DC IP on their coasters and call it a day without properly theming them. When going into a Disney Muppets rollercoaster, people are expecting more than just the bare minimum for theming.

That's probably a separate conversation. Personally, I'm not expecting much of a retheme outside of a new pre-show and maybe some little touches in the loading area.

Hey now... let's give Batman (and minimally Riddler) some credit. It had top notch immersive themeing, of course it was also the mid-90s too.

Hell, even the former Joker's Revenge coaster at Fiesta Texas had a funhouse for its queue

Height restriction on RnRC is 48 inches which averages to a 7-8 year old. Full-grown Muppets aren't an IP you pick up as a 5-6 year old (full-grown meaning not Muppet Babies, which afaik doesn't exist anymore).

I'm guessing the idea is that you could launch (edit: no pun intended) the Muppets to kids at 7-8 and have them into them through elementary school.
