Well this is unfortunate but not surprising. Doesn’t look like Dark Harbor has a good chance of ever returning.

I've been following this story pretty closely for the last couple of years. The city has come out and refuted this article in the last couple of days (or at least an earlier version of it) but ultimately all roads lead to the same conclusion in my mind. I'll save some of my thoughts for the actual Queen Mary thread, but I don't see Dark Harbor or any event returning there for a long time.

S/o to Shaq for holding down QM but now DK rises again! Best haunt of 2019 for me so I’m eager to go back again.
Theme Park Insider reported that 13th Floor are doing the event so that sounds very positive - a similar event to the past, not just the branding with someone else doing it.

Yeah, Amy Hollaman (who gave the press announcement) previously was Creative Director for Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary, then moved out to Cali and worked for Dark Harbor, eventually transitioning over to the Thirteenth Floor Entertainment group and helping with LA Hayride and Shaqtoberfest. So a good pedigree of quality haunt experience combined with experience at the Queen Mary site too, so in great hands!
