CNBC is reporting that Disney may shut down Hulu within the year and move its product to Disney Plus.

Disney actually announced their plan to do this back in August 2025:

Disney announced they are going to replace the Star tile in the Disney+ app internationally with Hulu this fall and they will also be sun-setting the stand-alone Hulu app in 2026. Hulu live TV subscribers will be going over to Fubo.

Hulu App to Be Phased Out as Disney Is ‘Fully Integrating’ Service Into Disney+

Disney said it is "fully integrating" the Hulu service, which it now owns 100%, into its flagship Disney+ streamer.
