do u guys think this Pandora will come to Disney California adventure? I was thinking that maybe they should take out bugs life and just build it there

There's not really any demand, plus why put it in that location at DCA when they're going to do "Super Hero Central" (my name since they can't use Marvel) there instead.

What do you think? 64.99? Yea. That's what they should raise it to. I don't think anyone would blame them.

They're currently $49.99, right? Given that they can't stay in stock, I don't think a $15 raise is out of question, but there are two factors to consider:

1. Does $50 represent any kind of psychological barrier, and would pushing past it make guests think twice about their purchase?

2. Does the inability to keep the product in stock accurately reflect consumer demand or the nefarious work of scalpers?

I think there is no chance Pandora goes to any other park. Star Wars is going to be Disney's moonshot.

Personally, I think the Banshees would sell worse at a higher price. Little Tommy that says he wants one of them after the ride is much more likely to get it at $50 than $65 (or more).

Stocking the banshees is likely only a temporary problem. Disney is likely being cautious and making sure that the initial bum rush of sales wasn't just a fluke due to being the opening few weeks.

Likely, yes. There's also something to be said for the empty shelves creating a sense of demand and urgency.

I don't see any way Pandora - as the entire land - goes to other parks. I could see Flight of Passage going around the world as a standalone attraction. If the licensing deal with Cameron would allow such a thing.

Looking at " actual" reported ride times by people in line reporting per Touring Plans. Yesterday, between 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM lines were 45 to 60 minutes on Flight Of Passage. Great time to be in line for repeat rides on a weekday.

Here's the story: everyone thinks they're going to be first in line for flight of passage, so the ride gets a two hour wait within minutes of opening. All of those people get processed and leave Pandora by around noon and wait times drop dramatically until it gets closer to sunset.

Yes,that makes sense. We were kind of speculating the same, thinking people were anticipating shorter lines in the morning like elsewhere at WDW.

That pattern is fascinating. It seems like most new rides have consistently long lines all day for several months after opening. I don't think Disney crowds as a whole have been trained well enough to do the "recommended" route of getting into line first thing in the morning.

People have been getting in line at rope drop at Disney Parks for 62 years. Now FP+ may have changed how people tour the parks, but I think it's simply that Pandora hasn't done anything to bump WDW crowds, only shift them.

The vast majority of people enter a park when it opens. Then for the next few hours very few leave. The number doesn't equalize until about 1pm.

Kevin Yee posted an article on Micechat making the case for FoP being the best attraction in Orlando.

I feel like he has been pretty hard on modern Disney in the past.

But Magic Band should take care of that dip, right?
Everybody is online 6 months in advance to get their ride tickets or it's not that big of a draw.

No, people will abandon their FPs before waiting a few hours to get on a ride.

I finally finished an article about hidden details in Pandora that I've been working on for weeks. Just been too busy to sit down and finish it until now. Thanks to everyone that helped me with the details!

I've included the fake waterfalls and sleeping stingbats, among other things I found interesting. Wish I had more time to work on it because I could list at least a dozen more. I'm still planning on doing an in-depth one just for Satu'li too.

Enjoy: 10 Hidden Details in Pandora – The World of Avatar – Orlando ParkStop

Not to be a cynic, but it didn't really have any real competition. It was mostly going against the VB rides, some assorted coasters, and Fallon.
