While this is outdated by a month--Google Earth updated the sats to match what was from April 5th; showing the state of the security projects in consideration to their sizes.

Thanks to this, I think I finally got the ability to make a better overlay to represent how things will be for the Jurassic side.

I hope they don’t get rid of that multi level CityWalk entry from Jurassic Parking. I remember they closed it during Covid and getting down to the first level was a hassle

If this will involve herding people through one small entrance to even get to City Walk, they can take all the time they need.

Honestly, they should've done this years ago (back when ET garage was added?). It's coming across as poorly planned.

I'm curious how the turn-around drop-off area by Buca between ET & Jurassic is going to work.

I'd actually argue there is a lot of work being done with the sake of Jurassic. Specifically with the amount of rebar on the side closer to the highway, and of the ongoing work for the elevator shaft that is being added as part of this.

So will all existing entry portals from Jurassic, Curious & ET be sealed off or turned into an "exit only" access?

I'm really trying to wrap my head around how this will play out because this something that should've happened years ago, not 2 additional parking garages later. Unlike DTD with it's 3 access points being easy for security checks.

Don’t know how this is going to work either. What about the employee security point by the jumping fountains?

I would imagine that the security checkpoint (the metal detectors and X-ray scanners) there will be removed but they'll still have the turnstile gates for badged access. Employees will have to go through the CityWalk security with everyone else, though they may put in Employee Only lines or something.

Weird having employees and guests enter security at the same area. Does any other themepark do this?

Universal Orlando is set up that way if entering from CityWalk. TMs have their own lane to the right of the main security check point everyone else uses. No idea how the other parks (Uni or not) do it.

This may dissuade me from going to that theater. Sounds like a hassle for no reason.

Personally speaking I don't think it's going to be as much of a issue.

Instead of having a consolidated location that is separate from the overall experience; I think the enclosing of the property to be a bubble, with the three dedicated checkpoints might allow them to be more able to get people through with ease. Especially as they'll have to have all three open at a time, regardless of how many checkstands in the checkpoints are open.

Granted this is personal speculation--but I do think it shouldn't be a issue once things go online by hopefully February.

except currently you don’t need to deal with that at all if you’re just going to a movie. i suppose this could make life easier for those going to both citywalk and the theme park … i don’t see it being a positive for anyone else.

Forcing everyone to go down to the bottom of Jurassic is a joke. It’s not built for that. This is gonna be something they are gonna be changing constantly after this opens to find solutions I feel

Yeah, as it is, I purposely park on the third or fourth levels next to the 2nd floor openings and walk straight out onto City Walk and I'm instantly at the food court looking down at the theater. Sometimes I'll grab a Baja Blast and head directly into the theater. On top of that, I go late at night when mostly everyone is gone. Forcing me to go down to a specific checkpoint so that I then have to go back up to the escalators to grab a Doritos Locos Taco is kinda insane.
