you know, I turned on Conan last night, and they had that segment where he plays a new video game and basically yells at the TV the whole time. I couldn't believe how boring it was. Watching someone play video games on TV may be the least entertaining thing I've ever witnessed.

Twitch is a little different...it's actually competent or competitive people playing games (sometimes before release). I still think it's silly though.

At least from Japan there's a good number of games using Unreal Engine 4 coming to Switch.

To me this all but confirms Kingdom Hearts 3. If it can go to Xbox, a console that has had absolutely no games from the series before, it can come to NS. I don't personally care for the series but it does have a sizable dedicated fan base.

Nintendo has had KH titles on their portable console for a good amount of time.

Could I see it? Perhaps, but that may determine on the success of what Square puts out at launch.

They already know KH can sell on Nintendo hardware. All they have to do is release it. The true unproven ground is Xbox.

Unfortunately no Mass Effect (at least for now). I'd be happy though with a lot of Japanese titles, these tended to be restricted to the DS for some reason.
I have also been thinking, will the Mario Kart just be 8, or will it be more like 8 1/2?
Some more horror games would be great as well, the Wii had a few, the Wii U did not have much beside Resident Evil.

EA can keep it and stick it where the sun don't shine after they purposely sent ME3 Wii U out to die by releasing the whole Trilogy on the PS3/360 at the same time for the same price. Then they pulled "oh it got low sales, herp derp." Well, no Sherlock.

Kind of a shame as I would like to play Doom. It's one of those third party games that caught my attention.

EA did say something major was in the makes for the Switch, I know a lot of people say it is Battlefield. EA strikes me as a weird company really.
I imagine a lot of things depend on whether or not the Switch will sell well, as I think that even though the hardware will just be adequate, it will work for most games and I also think that in general the system will be a lot easier to program for than the Wii U was. I like playing Star Wars Pinball from Zen Studios, and I once emailed them concerning upcoming tables, and was told that it was hard to program for the Wii U.
