I was able to snag some games and a controller from Best Buy but no luck with the system. Hopefully I can grab one when they reopen the inventory. I don't like the idea of buying an overpriced one from a scalper.

Yeah, by the time I found out a few of them still had preorders available at the store it was too late. I went on the Nintendo waiting list also so hopefully they send me an email for one.

Sad to see the “code in a box” games still exist. Everyone thought the Game Key Cards were supposed to fully replace this with a sort of cool in between that could still be traded but I guess not.

If anyone is still trying to get a pre-order I would suggest following Jake Randall on YouTube and Twitter. That is how I got 2 on initial pre-order day and that was also how I got my PS5 a few years ago. Great information on how to get a pre-order.

Likely not. To make it worse they didn’t even show off anything that wasn’t already out there so they did this basically for nothing except showing off a physical mockup for internet cookies.

This is good news. I'll probably just go to my local Target to get one on launch day. Now that I think about it, I remember I didn't even preorder the first one and just went a little early on launch day to snag one at target.
