Yeah, I think it will be promoted as "The All New and Improved Incredible Hulk", and nothing more.

And I'll bet there will be tons of locals showing up to experience the new Hulk.

To be fair it is a new ride. Though I don't see there being advertising claiming it to be completely unique. Like "Disaster Studios, unlike anything you've ever seen at Universal before", or "Simpson's Ride, who would have thought we could put fake cars in a dome until now." (insert -some joke about Racetrack 2.0 being a car going 5mph slower then the road to get there- here)

Also I am trying to catch up in this thread. I have only seen a few pics of the coring of the old support footers, but it looks like they were trying to get rid of the bulk of the meat the quick and dirty way and then fine tune around the rebar. I will also note that cement is not one thing, there are many different blends depending on the specifics. Some moisture is required for it to cure properly, too little and it'll crack and too much will dilute the bonding agents rendering it useless. But these levels also depend on the blend.

Deadpool is under the X-Men brand, so that'd be a big NOPE

Well that's just in regards to movie rights, which is owned by Fox. MSHI has the rights to use X-Men characters, so they do have the rights to use him if they want.

Well, yes.

But i'm still going to go on the assumption (for now) that an Avengers ride is in the pipeline... which would rule X-Men out if they switch to Cinematic Universe.

Even if that rumor comes to fruition, they still have rights to use him.

I thought there was rumors that if that came to happen, they would have to stop using anything not in the MCU?

But that whole thing is still very much a rumor anyway, so you're right.

I wasn't really talking about a ride, just any appearance. Universal would be smart to capitalize on his success. A M&G where he absolutely torches every guest that comes up to him would be fantastic :lmao:

I'd love to see a little chimichanga kiosk that looks like Deadpool threw it together himself

And I agree, a Deadpool M&G is a must. It would be fun to see him get into fights with Wolverine and Spider-Man from time to time. Not like actual physical fights, but bantering back and forth...

With all of the success of Marvel oriented movies, it seems to me that Universal is really missing the boat by not having an incredible new E ticket started and ready to go on the Island. We've heard the Avengers rumor, but that has either died or is far in the future. Even a Springfield type of makeover for MSHI would surely generate attendance and enthusiasm at a minimal cost. I think the Hulk refub is really going to increase attendance and interest in the Island more than most imagined. Hopefully, that will be the generator for a soon to start makeover and expansion. I realize UC has a lot on their agenda, but this is something that really should have been prioritized. It's certainly has more need & potential than a Jimmy Fallon attraction. And something simple like a Deadpool character running around the streets & meeting people seems to be common sense at the least and an almost nothing cost to it.

As long as a fast tracked Marvel would be no hindrance on Nintendo I'm good.

Oh my god... that'd be amazing. Heck, Deadpool would make for an awesome live show. It would need to be super raunchy though, so it might have to only be at HHN.

You know, HHN is a great idea. Won't have to suppress that magnificent dialogue.
