Peter Jackson has been officially announced to exec. Produce the upcoming Lord of The Rings: The War of Rohirrim--a 2D Animated feature film being developed by Warner Bros. Animation, New Line Cinema, and seemingly Sola Entertainment in WB Japan. First stills have come out now amongst Annecy taking place; with the film releasing this holiday season on December 13th.

First off looks great, I'm going to love this

1) WB is confident an anime will make them money...is kinda insane
2) lol of course we have to have the live action films in the trailers and talk about the ring...everything must connect, lol


Anyway looks like a good time, I would be surprised if this isn't one of my favorite films of the year
