Let's not forget that JP/JW is still a "theme park", so a roller coaster still fits thematically. I get it, though, as I'll miss the lush look JP had - but I'd rather have this coaster.

Once the cranes are going and some trees are hopefully added back in, this isn't really going to change much of the view besides the top hat. The track is blending in nicely and it's all low directly in front of the Discovery Center.

If I was to get real nitpicky about it, the only thing I'd really want to see is a high wall added around Popeye's near the top hat.

Besides that, it's looking great.

This thing looks phenomenal. The color choices should really pay off, and with a little additional strategic landscaping I think it will blend in fairly well.

Looks like they've poured concrete for the bottom of the fountain in front of the Discovery Center, and there's some more track staged in the first half ready to be installed

Not really news, just thought it was interesting: Other than the top hat, it looks like all of the track will be below tree level.

At one point they mention Masrani which is the company that owns JW in the movie. Also, I am in love with how this looks

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Jurassic Park is going to become Jurassic World. I didn't think it would before, but it's too obvious now.

I mean, all they have to do is redo the arch and give River Adventure the USH overlay and the whole land is pretty much Jurassic World. I guess retheme Camp Jurassic, too?

All they'd really need to do is to do some light retheming and paintwork around the area itself; maybe change up some of the food locations to match that of Hollywood's locations; the archway being redone; and then revamping Jurassic Park River Adventure to JW: River Adventure.

Honestly, if there was anything I'd put money on in happening now, especially with EU delayed to 2024..it's arguably Pets and Jurassic World. Depending on things, it could be rather cheap for them; and may not require much outside of River Adventure (but even that..can be done with.)

If i'm Universal, i'm taking River Adventure down at the beginning of 2021 for a change to JW and it should only be a few months before the coaster opens at that point anyway.

Honestly, thinking about it and with the audio coming around the Jurassic Arch; I think a really strong way of getting people in the parks, may rely on a relaunch of Jurassic Park to Jurassic World.

Could tie really well with Dominion coming in 2021 (if they don't delay it); would allow them to revamp the area to match that of Raptor Encounter and Velocicoaster. And that it could be rather cheap, especially with assets already created for the River Adventure; in the form of digital media for Hollywood's version.

They really don't even have to fully redo JPRA like they did in Hollywood, just repaint the boats and give it some new animatronics. That's it. They already have a major new ride for the land.

Given the low attendance to be expected for the year, why not incentivize and make efforts to bring more people in; for those looking to enjoy something that isn't a coaster.

Honestly, I think a total JW conversion makes a good bit of sense; in more way's than one.

Was just about to say the same thing essentially. JPRA isn't plagued with the sightline issues like it's counterpart at USH, so there's zero reason to enclose the Ultrasaur Lagoon and turn it into the Mosasaur tank that makes no sense given the surrounding area. If they blended it into the rockwork, I'd take less issue with it but to me it's jarring in it's current state. Granted, I think Universal Creative in Orlando has much more experience than the fledgling crew in Hollywood, so the end result will almost certainly better, but I see no need for a full conversion. Plus, an enclosing of Ultrasaur Lagoon almost guarantees even more foliage stripped from the land, and I ain't about that action.

It's a classic ride, that just needs an overhaul on the majority of the animatronics. Paint it blue and grey if they need brand synergy, it doesn't need the whole nine yards they gave to USH's version.
