To ask, do we think it could be possible that Universal..keeps Jurassic Park closed during these times? Or do we see them just going to have it open with a strict one-way through to atleast have the entire park be not a giant

I am curious, especially with the ease of them being able to go to town with this project.

This is a good point (if you're saying what I think you're saying)

The construction area of JP was rather tight and wouldn't allow for a ton of social distancing

However, I'm not sure they have another option

That's actually the nail I wanted to say.

With things now, there doesn't seem like a good way of doing it, unless they force the park to be by one direction for travelling around. And that area is already as tight as it is; so it's..a thought.

If they do the Hogwarts projection show, they will need to keep at least part of JP open so that people can leave the viewing area and exit the park. Going through JP and then around and over the temporary bridge is how they always manage crowd flow for that show.

Have you ever been to IOA and toured the park? That's really not a workable situation to tour the park, which is difficult as it is since the absence of a hub makes for a lot of walking, let alone having it one way or blocked off thorough a part of the loop.

Have they done the one way thing in all groceries around the country? Mine has and it is a nuisance but I do break the rules if the aisle is vacant. :nana:

The idea that a family is there with kids to ride Seuss but they must turn left out of Port and walk the entire park would be crazy town.

It's not like the park will be filled wall to wall with people.

Exactly. Even now you have to do a ton of backtracking in order to hit the shortest line times.i love IOA BUT... It's actually a very hard park to navigate due to the absence of a hub, or any shortcuts, as it is.....I don't know if my supermarket is the norm, but for about two weeks it seemed most followed the one way signs. But that didn't last long. On all of my subsequent trips, the latest being today, most have ignored the one way signs....and there never was any social distancing, except for the buggies in line. That's almost impossible unless you'd want to spend an hour or two to shop, unless the store is dead...... the day there's a successful vaccine and most get vaccinated, I see most everyone throwing their masks away and entirely forgetting about social distancing. Group hugs all around. Vast majority of Americans will never embrace the Far East mask culture. Just a handful here and there.

Allllll I wanna know is if the whole area gets a little bump along with this ride. Not an upgrade per say but a little revamp and step up. I’m hopeful

Why would Seuss be Walled off from Port? That would make no sense even if they did something like what @AlexanderMBush is talking about.

I’d say no chance.
By the time the park opens, it appears Raptor Encounter should be complete.

So now we’re only talking one side with walls instead of both sides with walls. Additionally, the path will be slightly bigger and capacity will be capped.

Between JPRA and Raptor Encounter and that entire side being open, not only will we get more room, but we’ll have more foliage and it will finally start feeling like Jurassic Park again.

Man, you're so reckless.

Personally, I think that it is going to come down to people just taking risks by going. I think that I read that Disney is putting a disclaimer even saying that the visitor accepts the risk. As long as the park is doing what it can (ex. Sanitizing stations, workers in masks, reduced capacity, etc), I don't know what would be left. Virtual queueing will work to some extent but that also means more people walking around the park.

Oh, it's on like the former Soviet republic of Azerbaijan <courtesy of "How I Met Your Mother">. I love watching coaster construction. Although, it is very interesting to see all the footers that currently do not have supports attached. This ride is going to be a blast.

^ That’s a shame you’re missing all the best parts about what will probably be a top 10 roller coaster

It’s not like I’m going to ride it in the next several years, if ever. I have no plans to visit in the near or middle future. I’m only curious about the sight lines.

I don’t know why but I expected a slow turn into the launch before the lagoon.

This thing is pulling no punches.
