This is kind of how I visualise it but the tower in the middle is making me think otherwise with the openings it has. I had assumed that this would be more practical than it appears.

Any indication of how long these trains are going to be? Given the tight pullout after the dive next to the station, it’ll either be incredibly forceful or have like 3-4 car trains.

Supposedly 6, don't know if that still holds true.

Ya'll, I thought I would hate seeing a coaster at the other end of the lagoon

I do not.

This gives a very good look at the Raptor Encounter, launch 1 track, a metal structure going up in the spagetti bowl, the size and direction of the top hat as well as the "cap" on top of the tower View attachment 12188

Already some planting going on in the Raptor Encounter area, cool!
Also read an AA of an open shirt Jeff Goldblum with animated nippel will be installed in the queue but that was on Fox News so... ;)

It is entirely possible that the Raptor Encounter opens with the park in the coming months right?

Yep. It looks to be nearing completion.

Also, does anybody know the inversion count for this thing? I can see a dive loop near the station, but I'm not sure if that's it or not.

Hmm. So a dive loop is pretty much confirmed (there's supports for it already), hopefully the other two are a zero g stall (like what is seen on Pantheon) over the lagoon and a slow barrel roll in the spaghetti bowl.

The Raptor Encounter area looks very nice. Assuming there's lots of greenery yet to be planted, I think it will be a clear upgrade from the previous iteration(s).

Could this scaffolding be the base for some rockwork?

I like how Universal doesn't seem to be taking any shortcuts with this. They're making this as themed as they possibly can.

The scaffolding looks like galvanized steel which I think is corrosion resistant, so I would not be surprised if there was infact a waterfall in the vicinity.

All of this, with Camp Jurassic next door, is going to look incredible.

Even the slightest extension of the Camp Jurassic aesthetic would be so welcomed!

In complete agreement with the atmosphere aspect. I'm hoping that we get a healthy dose of foliage back as they wrap up construction. Would be cool if they had some fake plants that shook as if the raptors were running through it. Also the sounds of Jurassic Park in the area mixed with some raptor screams might be nice. I'm looking everyday for updates from the usual sources and they're coming in faster now. Hopefully we'll see a ton of progress this week.
