My mom just told me that on my birthday (the 27th), she's taking me to Universal-- all three parks!!

I'm gonna take my extremely rare Rocko stuffy (since he doesn't meet at the park anymore.) He's gonna be in a backpack for most of it, but I'll take the backpack on the rides (except my favourite, Fearfall... sadly.)

I was wondering if they still have the Rocko costume and could arrange a private meet and greet if I asked. Since it will be my birthday, after all. I know Nickelodeon Studios has been gone for 20 years now, but you never know what they might still have.

Here is my bucket list:
  • Get a Big Pink
  • Meet Betty Boop, Megatron, Woody, Marge Simpson, Velma, Doctor Doom, Wolverine, Olive Oyl, and SpongeBob
  • Ride Fearfall
  • Ride Velocicoaster
  • Do the Marvel Character Dinner at IoA
  • Get a cauldron cake (I've read the first HP book, and I liked the sound of cauldron cakes)
  • Visit the former sites of Nickelodeon Studios and T2-3D
I can't wait to go!! I'll take photos!!

That's incredibly exciting! Congrats! and Happy early birthday!!:party:

It's unfortunately unlikely for the Rocko character to still be in Universal Orlando's possession. Even if they really wanted to treat you to a special encounter, I believe they are unable to since the costume just isn't around anymore.

I might be wrong but if what I've heard is true, I believe that during HHN hours at USF, the extended park areas that lead to the Soundstage houses allow you to utilize the Blue Man Group bathrooms, which feature effectively the same green splatter theming as when it was the Nick Studios. So that could be a fun thing to try and check out!

If HHN is out of the question, then the back pathway behind Hard Rock is the current closest spot to scope out the former Studios building! A lot of it was visible from the HRRR queue, but with that down, most of that area is a big construction zone currently!

Not sure how you feel about these Nick characters, but you can also try and meet Spongebob and the others at his store, and they might have a fun reaction to seeing your old-school Rocko!

There's also some fun references to T-2 in the current Bourne show, which is one of my favorites across the whole resort!

I recommend the single-riders queue for Doom! Unless something's changed since I last tried it, it should be available through the casino arcade next door and is a super easy way to loop that ride over and over with very little wait!

Congrats again! I hope you have a wonderful vacation!

LOVE SpongeBob. I wanna ask Patrick what songs he knows on the mayonnaise.

What rides are good for my mom?? I know E.T. is one, but she thinks E.T. is ugly (can't blame her. Looks like that shriveled-up old lady who hates chocolate.) Sims get her sick (learned that on Star Tours 9 years ago) so Simpsons might be out of the question, even though she loves Simpsons. Spider-Man might be good. She doesn't do anything fast or inverting (Hulk and Velocicoaster are the only ones that invert though.)

Most of the best rides at the UOR parks have either more intense motion or high speeds, so it's a bit tough to recommend much!

Men in Black is a must-do, and if they can handle a flume ride with a drop, Jurassic Park River Adventure is good fun! Cat in the Hat and Yoshi's Adventure are cute family rides as well. Definitely don't sleep on the shows at USF or Epic either!

If they can handle a little bit of speed, then Hagrid's and Hiccups Wing Gliders are a lot of fun and act as family-level coasters.

If they can handle a bit of that more intense simulator-type movement, then Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey, Spider-Man, Gringotts, Monsters Unchained, and Mario Kart are all really cool rides!

My mom loves shooting type rides. We always do Justice League at our home park, Six Flags Great Adventure. Noted!

She does go on water rides (and screams like hell on the drops.) In fact, today, we went to Six Flags America before it closes for good in a few months, and we rode Shipwreck Falls.

I bet she'd love Cat in the Hat. Don't know about Yoshi or Mario Kart (my parents pronounce it as "Mah-rio," not "Marr-io." If someone does that, then you know they aren't familiar with it.)

congrats on coming.

men in black is very soft except for the spinning. the ride spins like 4 times at the end. the sets and aliens look amazing.

Spiderman and transformers for me are rough in their turns. but amazing.

the minions rides are nice. the falling ride is nice.

the potter rides make people nauseated.
