I was referring to Orlando's, which opened on June 18th, 2010 and was advertised as vaguely opening "Spring 2010". -and sure, if you wanna get technical about season dates, sure. But I remember reading about there being some Guest frustration because generally, visitors didn't consider June anything as Spring.

Also, it was a joke. ;)

Now that I reread your original post, I see you said 2010. Totally missed that. Oops.

Signups are underway for promo filming with ACE (American Coaster Enthusiasts). For those signed up, on Friday they'll be doing video shoots for the upcoming attraction ahead of opening.

It’s crazy… you have to submit a headshot and commit to being there 9.5 hours

I’m out of town, so won’t happen for me. I’m sure it sounds fun to most, but also realize there will be hours of downtime as well. This is for filming, not the enthusiast who just wants to ride over and over

They most likely won't. They have the major benefit of just working on flat land and not having to worry about sound barriers.

On another note, one major question that's been on my mind has been whether or not we are going to end up seeing the supercharger at the front of the Charger actually installed on the trains? The only time we ever saw the trains running through the course with them on was on the first day they were revealed and they then took all the superchargers off the lead cars and we STILL haven't seen them re-installed. I wonder if it may have something to do with weight distribution... I especially am getting worried because while they were first just testing with the open hole on the Chargers, they have now covered the hole on the hood and it seems as if it may be semi-permanent...
