Either that or I could see some sort of dessert like a box made out of chocolate shell with some kind of mousse or sponge cake situation inside with "bloody" raspberry sauce.

I'm about to both age myself and be extremely local but if anybody remembers the "Chocolate Sack" dessert from Sam Snead's tavern...think that but shrink it down to MINIATURE size in a handheld square shape box. Make that the Lament Configuration dessert. That would be a dream.
