Well let's just get out ahead of this - Stranger Things 5 contains a lot that could work effectively for a house.

I just can't imagine a universe where Universal wouldn't want to strike with it in 2026.

Yeah, no matter how one feels about the finale - it’s STILL Stranger Things.

But I’d argue for a compilation house. IMO

I'd be perfectly happy with a mega house! Might be the best way to do it honestly.

Stranger Things is still not actually rumored through my channels. It’s ostensibly a placeholder at the moment.

And I’ve heard six IPs, plus Ozzy and Ice Nine Kills. So, the fact I haven’t heard Stranger Things remains something of note.

Something else I will also note: Can anyone please tell me a year where a speculation map this early was spot-on? Even if it is right, something always changes.

Also that’s quite a lot of IPs this year.

I’m pointing out how many I’ve heard to highlight how some HAVE to be wrong.

There’s five IPs this year.

That's actually wild!

If I had to make a guess - INK might be floating around from Heavy Metal Hell. Maybe an original score?

If Stranger Things DOESN'T appear at the event, I'd have to imagine that's purely a Netflix decision.

Absolutely. I will be a bit surprised if Universal doesn’t tap this IP one more time. It’s quite the money maker!

There’s other IP’S let Stranger things fade it had its time in the spotlight.

Smile and others need to come, and I Prefer Fear Street over stranger things.

At least it didn't/hasn't stayed around as consistently and annoyingly as TWD. Those were dark and evil times, and not in a good way.

I agree with that, that was Horrific. Amc was Greedy. And the show turned into a dumpster fire bore fest.

Counterpoint: At least at the beginning, the Walking Dead mazes were good. I’ve yet to go through a Stranger Things maze that I would say that about.

You know this is the Orlando thread right? You’re clearly confusing that with the Hollywood thread.

Joking aside, I will say the most recent ST house was a little underwhelming. Couldn’t believe I e joyed the ‘19 house more than the ‘23 one!

Stranger Things houses, to me, have been more of a tribute to the show than an actual haunted house. We get those every year. FNAF and Fallout are examples from last year.

I love when they take IPs and make a NEW story from the IPs. I don’t remember the last time they did this with a movie or show. The last one that comes to mind was Dreamwalkers in 2007. But I’m sure there has been one since then. It’s easier to do it with the horror adjacent properties (Weeknd, Wyatt Sicks, etc.).

And maybe it’s just my naivety. Maybe the rights holders don’t want this. They want the exact property they created displayed. Sometimes this works well. Insidious from last year and Exorcist: Believer from 32.

Yeah, this was my reaction as well. While I never experienced any of the Walking Dead houses, I remember reading a lot of the comments on them and the only TWD house which seemed to get universal praise was the last one.

And while I know everything is subjective and all, but the first Stranger Things house was good! I would not insinuate it was a bad house whatsoever.
