Quoting due to the topic of loyalty and voting with your wallet: is there anyone out there that is truly going to speak with their wallet and forego this year entirely? I’m not talking about cutting back on your visits or vacations, cause they’re still getting your money that way, I mean completely avoiding spending any money on HHN due to this change.

I’m genuinely curious to see how many people actually skip the event vs. are very angry, but still go.

I don't think this ultimately matters for Universal, because it's not a binary win/lose situation for them. They can still lose out on significant amounts of potential revenue even if people still show up. It's more a matter of how you show up.

So this is my first year following HHN(because its the first year I have the chance to go)
Is it normal to have a week of reveals then nothing on the Friday?

Trying to put sense to HHN announcements isn’t gonna happen. This week is a good example of something may seem one was but not happen that way. We all thought this was SZ week as last year we got a SZ week and Monday we got our first zone that was followed by a zone Tuesday. But after that we go a show Wednesday and then whatever KKfOS will be Thursday. And to end the week? Nothing. When we all thought we would be. So don’t try to make sense of HHN announcements

It probably doesn’t but I would think it could be possible they’d lose even more revenue if enough of the people that are against this change skipped the event entirely this year, no? We’ll most likely never see the data but it’d be interesting to see if there were enough people that sat this year out what difference it would make, if any.

Whether or not sales are "as usual" is dependent on people's choices, not a given. I've spent more than six hours in a park without eating anything lots of times. Have I been doing it at recent HHNs? No, but I certainly can.

As a 30 year old man, I am unironically pumped for Fortnitemares. The game is goofy as all get out, but the fact it’s at HHN just makes me very excited to see how it’s pulled off. Any video game, really, I’m always excited about at the event.

My mother is so excited tor this zone its insane. The other day I was visiting her and watched her win and said “I wonder how that person would feel if they knew they lost to a grandma wearing a night gown right now” lol
