Single night tickets will just come out with multi night tickets now. Universal’s respond to ppl complaining multi night tickets comes out so late compared to single nights is to push single night tickets back.

On the HHN related front, this could solidify that San Francisco is NOT a SZ this year. Unless they wanted to add Shark Attack victim scareactors

On first look on all of this merch i really REALLY can't help but feel like -from further away (or even just a foot from my computer screen)- it looks like someone picked up a turd and smeared those words out by hand.

ESPECIALLY on that hat - my god.

As someone with close to 20+ years in graphic design, i am in utter shock and bewilderment at the decisions made here. And as someone with basic eyesight and a casual to passive perception of most things, i am embarrassed for Universal, here. How anyone can pick a wispy BROWN warped font and not think is beyond me.

I'm not a big FNAF fan - but it has existed for well over a decade now. I don't really associate it with kids anymore, because most of them have grown up lol.

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Fallout - you may be surprised to know that Fallout itself has existed for 28 years!

Fallout has been around 28 years? JEEZ! Honestly, CodeMan, your passionate description of the show and what it's about is what convinced me to give it a shot. For sure, I will comment when I get the time to check it out. So, thank you for that.

As for FNAF... I know it's been around a while, but the only time I hear about it is from my 9 year old grandson who plays it. LOL. So, again, forgive me for the implied disdain on some of this.

I gotta hard agree here. Merch has been declining way below the quality level it should be for HHN over the last couple years.

I know I'm going to sound like a jerk here and I am sorry but I'm just being honest.

Last year in particular was abysmal from both a design and quality standpoint. The early merch that was churned out looked senseless and random and, for lack of a better word, cheap. The Sinister/Surreal logo they slapped onto the pale gray tote bags that they pumped out for $60? Why? The Ghostbusters hats they had with the villain on it was so poorly ironed on and so many were just straight up peeling off. Yet it retailed for what? $30-$40 bucks?

I don't mean to sound negative but it really is concerning how poor quality and uninspired so much of the merch has been. It's too early to tell how this year will fare based off the fact we are in early stages but if last year and these few designs from this year are any indication, I'm not going to hold my breath for anything better.

But as long as people keep buying them and nobody is holding them to the quality standards they'll just keep pumping it out. *Shrugs*

Agree on all your comments on Merch. I think I only bought four things last year (which is a record for me in the 19 years I've been attending). I got the Insidious long-sleeved shirt and the Tervis Ghostbusters cup (which was out for like a weekend). I also got a pair of Lil' Boo sweats and the Ghostbusters sweats. It wasn't that those sweats were amazing or anything - I just like the property and I live in a state that gets COLD.. so functional.

I've noticed a serious decline in merch as well. I think back to the RIDICULOUS money I spent in 2015 - everything from shirts to artwork to Tervis cups. I mean, I can't even tell you the total I spent without embarrassing myself. I couldn't get enough that year. Since then, the one stand out year was when they had all the classic Halloween themed merch, and they kept releasing new stuff like every week. I was losing my mind. I got a ton that year which I think was 2022? Of course, I buy the house shirt every year even if I don't like it because I collect them. When comparing all these shirts over the years literally next to each other, you can see the differences. It's a bummer. I hope they rectify this sooner than later. Final comment - selling a hat for $30-$40 and it isn't even embroidered and will eventually peel off is truly disgusting. At least my Lil' Boo hat is stitched.

I'll take Marketing putting out really really bad original merch early and vague nonsensical "Did you guys know... there's a creature... under Universal?! " teasing in the first half of the year if that means we get actual icons and storylines for the event. It seems to be working for getting them to stay in their lane anyways.

I know Surreal and Sinister didn't really work but I liked the attempt and the designs were neat! That flayed face shoulderpiece on Sinister was cool.

Sinister & Surreal just seemed like such a poorly executed after thought. And the over use of auto tune didn’t help either.

They probably would've been better during the old years of icons... before the "new age of darkness". Before the IPs...

The auto tone was horrible.
They were both casted amazingly, just let the actors do their job and deliver the character in a more natural way. Such an easy fix tbh.
