will you stay at a different resort outside uni?
I'm actually also excited if this rumor is true. While it will be compete chaos it will be very interesting to see the lines. And it will make those who get express actually get something that's worth it.
I felt they were somewhat better than in previous years. Epically if done right.
As someone who could never afford to drop the nearly $1k on FFP+Express I'll be thrilled if this turns out to be the case and it makes the lines move faster for my plebeian regular FFP+-buying self. It just felt like bad form to post about that when everyone else in the thread was upset about it lol
These past years: Crowds are just getting to bad and the express line is almost not even express now!
This year: There’s a rumor Universal will not sell multi nights with express to help fix those complaints! What a bad move!
Can’t make you guys happy.
I’ll still get UFF this year, just like last year, only without express. Why? Bc I love the event. If anything I’ll just not do every house every night and as I have a multi night ticket I’ll go back again (maybe even the next night).
Regarding FF+Express... ALL OF THIS. I was thinking the same thing. Normally, I would've scheduled out the Fall for travel purposes and would have already purchased airfare for all four weekends. However, I'm holding out because if FF doesn't have Express, this may be the first time in 20 years that I will not attend as many nights as I have. It breaks my heart, but I simply cannot stand in lines like that. It's about more than having a shorter wait for the houses. I can walk and walk and walk for miles each night, but the standing is brutal. I'm not feeble, and we find ourselves often hoofing it around the park much quicker than people clearly half our age, but the standing.. no.
I really hope this rumor is just a rumor.
A LOT to respond to here, but I'm not going to make a book long post again this time so don't worry, but mostly because I've had a couple pumpkin ales and typing is too much work LOL.
So yes, while I'm on property going to Universal... Always staying on property. I have nothing against Universal, it's still our favorite place on Earth to visit, hands down. I love this company and what they provide with everything I have, and they continue to have some of, if not the best, customer service I've ever dealt with. I'm just not staying as long as I usually do, because I just don't see the need to if I don't have express every night. That could change next year though if this experience ends up being even better. I still LOVE Universal, and love the event, so I will be going plenty. Pumped to see Hollywood's take this year as well, and will be buying express for there for two nights (already got tickets, need to get express soon).
The reason I say I'm iffy is because I actually agree with these other posts.... if this is a better experience for stand by, then I'm all for it. If I can go during the week and the longest I wait in a line is like 45 minutes, I'd legit never buy Express again. No point. But waiting over an hour for anything, for me at least, is rough. There isn't a single attraction I would wait over an hour for, period.
We actually just refunded our Epic Universe express passes after going multiple times and asked that we transfer them instead to another day ticket, which Universal was happy to do. Epic is a good example of what I'm hoping this is like, because every time we've visited Epic, YES we've waited in lines, but the lines were CONSISTENTLY moving and express was so short it was truly express. If HHN is that way this year? Oh yeah, I'm all in.
I just realized I wrote another book........
