While this is neither here nor there concerning the clue, I think it's important to factor in the talent pool when guessing at the houses and creating a speculation list. If Chucky is going to feature puppets, for example, it might be wise to discount other tiny creature or puppet-based IP due to staffing. Similarly, if everyone's speculation is right and The Last of Us gets a house, they'll likely need to ensure that they have look-alikes for the two leads, and long, tall performers to portray the infected. I always consider not only what IP might be needed to fill a content void, but also what sorts of performers HHN regularly gets at casting to fill the remaining houses. I'd say that there hasn't been a lot of speculation for a female-driven house recently, especially some of the taller women, so if I were a speculating sort of person I might start thinking about where these performer types might go...

Legacy's saying not to ignore the zero -- what if the zero is a clue about the clue?

It's serving as a left/right divider in the country flags, and something else that's a zero that divides left/right, or east/west, is the prime meridian.... I looked up the hemispheres for each country, and five are (at least mostly) in the western hemisphere: Brazil, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras and Iceland. Conveniently these countries also all start with letters that translate to single digits using the 26 cipher, which produces the number 27889. If you plug that into excel and reformat as a date you get 5/9/1976 -- I couldn't find much for episode air dates with that, but if you switch the month and day (and SkelEthan on the discord did point out that Legacy has liked a tweet about the US being the only country to use the MMDDYYYY format), 9/5/1976 was the air date for an episode of The Muppet Show, and Legacy has tweeted about the Muppets before so it's not a huge reach to think that could be it.

The celebrity host of that episode was Joel Grey, and the main character of TLoU is named Joel...

Even if this may not be the actual method and solution, I honestly hope it is since I really like this method! Also, I feel a lot of this would check out, right down to the simplicity of the clue being for TLoU and why. Some folks might think it's too obvious that the clue would be TLoU because of the Joel = Joel connection, to which I say, that's the point!

Remember last year when the clue for the Weeknd was "A Starboy is Born"? Legacy did that to get it out of the way. You take care of the big/obvious ones first, since usually those'll be announced early on...barring any exclusive interviews that'll announce the house, of course. After that, you have people dig for the more obscure ones that we really don't know are coming.

My take is pretty much the same as the last clue. In the Simpsons, they have been to Canada four times. But here’s the kicker: The Weeknd is a Canadian who made a guest appearance in the series other than American Dad. Is he gonna come back with Dawn FM?

I’m seeing the clues as “buttons” and the number 0 is where you “type down” the numbers to “unlock.” Push and type the ones that makes the most sense. No need to overthink for a first try.

And possibly Dracula and Phantom for Universal Monsters this year?

Thought his clues were for only 1 house.

Clue 1: Phantom & Dracula Mash Up
Clue 2: Blumhouse: Insidious & M3gan
Clue 3: Chucky (Already Announced)

I find it interesting that Legacy is using books as hints for the clues, then TV shows for this year.

Yeah, I really thought he was gonna use another animated show for this year.

I really hope Hunchback is involved in some way. Even if he's just a cameo/easter egg, as Hunchback turns 100 this year. Both films take place in Paris, so I don't see why they couldn't include Hunchback in some way.

Don’t think M3gan was ever comfirmed, the tweet that brought that up Legacy said nothing about.

Meghan was the name of the author, for the Insidious book.

There are hundreds of books with “Insidious” in the title. I used that one for the author.

For me, I’m hoping for an Usher reference since his most favorite movie of all time is the Phantom.

Well, we now have 3 of the houses

1. Chucky (announced)
2. UM: Phantom and Dracula (Legacy's clue)
3. Insidious and M3gan (Legacy's clue)

7 more to go!

I think Usher should be a Studio Screamer this year because of the Phantom's presence lol.

Might be his time. Looks like an Icon is present each year as Director was part of last years. He felt pretty "off" IMO being part of last years set with Pumpkin Lord and Casper.

We had Jack, Chance, and Caretaker 30, the Director 31.
