Meta to the event… not exactly horror…..a Bill and Ted House?

Fans would love a Bill and Ted house so I don’t think that’s it.

Looking for an IP that isn’t horror nor gory but would either dark enough or creature-feature enough to warrant a house.

I feel like this describes Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice already. What other IPs are along this line? Gremlins has been mentioned and so has the new Batman. What about Tremors?

I’d also like to know if this is an old school IP or more modern. Only clue I’ve seen is that it’s a big IP…Batman checks that box. I don’t think Tremors or Gremlins would though.

BTW are we discussing two different IPs here? One that is “meta” for the event and another that is divisive and horror-adjacent, or is this one IP?

That one makes a lot of sense and yeah I could see the older HHN crowd groan about it if you don't play the games.

Again the meta thing and the “divisive horror adjacent ip thing” were two different things I think. Fnaf makes sense but I can’t see it happening, I feel like they’d wait for the blumhouse movie to release before they’d adapt the ip to a maze but it has been stuck in development hell for years

You’re right! I edited accordingly i’m just stupid haha.

From what I understand that movie is as close to dead as possible ‘cause Scott Cawthon (who was super involved with the film’s production) got ex-communicated from the franchise. But I still think it has enough generational interest to be thrown into the house lineup. But also, it’s definitely not “horrror-adjacent”, it’s just horror. So if that was the main way to describe this mystery property I don’t think it’s that. But anyway i’m gonna stop talking about FNaF before someone inevitably yells at us for bringing it up again :ninja:

I might just be speaking for myself, but Dracula’s incredible. Wouldn’t have a problem with the Boulets being represented at HHN.
