they've only done a blumhouse tram in this style once, though, right? I don't think that necessarily marked a new precedent.

Yeah, nah. It was just people jumping the gun and somehow assuming the reused Crescent Cove sign on the Jason facade was a tease for terror tram somehow? Because the sign said 5 miles away and they thought thats how far away the backlot is? Despite the entire backlot campus barely even covering 1 mile from one corner to the other? Never really understood how that massive of a jump in conclusions ever caught on. Same vibes as the people who thought Nightmare on Elm Street must be coming back in 2022 because they reused a door frame for the scarecrow facade.

That said, I would love a Klowns tram if they were to ever do it, though I imagine there would be a lot of tripping hazards around the bates motel in those big suits.

Of course. I guess I just mean they have six franchise movies coming out between now and the next HHN (FNAF 2, Megan 2.0, Black Phone 2, Soulm8te, The Mummy, Insidious) and I would think they would like to have promotion for more than just one of those at the event.

Could be a scare zone or theatre show though too as those things are still in play.

Yeah, that’s dead and buried unfortunately. We’re getting Blumhouse again…

To be fair, rumors of Killer Klowns predated that sign. It's been discussed a while back in this thread, and was even on one of the earlier HNN spec maps. Even if it isn't coming, the sign was an interesting coincidence.

I’m going to stress the word coincidence. Signs get reused/reskinned more than people realize.

There are ways to promote Blumhouse properties other than a haunted house or terror tram.

I remember that hot second when we thought Poltergeist (??) Was going to be Sinister because they reused a wall panel and repainted it. That was instructive.

Makes sense from a budget perspective, tbh. Painting a pre-existing wall is cheaper than building + painting a wall.

I wonder what the Latin American scare zone is going to incorporate? I thought last year’s Luchador-by-way-of-monsters zone was fun and unique.

Could be our last Latin American zone for a while so I hope they go out with a bang.

Speaking of Poltegeist, I'm just thinking of the budget and it's just insane to me that it is THIS thin that they have to use so many repeat options (Blumtram, Scarecrow, La Llorona). I'm thinking maybe it's possible we'll get some of the sequels involved this time? Looking back at the original house, it was a lot of black hallways and repeated moments. It may make sense to condense and then add stuff from Poltergeist 2 and 3. Or at the very LEAST, ghosts from those films in the same fashion they did Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. They can easily add on a subtitle to make it a little more all-encompassing (like Poltergeist: The Beast). A huge aspect missing from the franchise was Reverand Henry Kane who is scary as hell and could easily work as a repeated scareactor to tie the theme all together.

If that were the case, my anticipation would jump up for it quite a bit.

I'm betting we might get an IP in Parisian next year if it comes back

Been thinking on this and I think we need to go back to ParkJourney's Opening Weekend article back in 2023.
According to John Murdy on our tour, there will be a Latin America themed house in this location for the foreseeable future as it blends in with the nearby Día De Los Muertos area, which also means the scare zone outside of the house will continue to be amazing. But more on that later.

in light of it's proximity to the plaza; for the sake of latin american representation and latin american stories that can be told through HHN. And while this is the end of a trilogy; I do think there is a likely place that Latin american stories will be told.

Should it? I would rather see different backgrounds get the chance to have lights shined, but considering how much Dia De Los Muertos likely gives them in revenue; I imagine it's a hard sell to transform what is being in the plaza if you are not going to have it match what's in Parisian. That, combined with UBE; allows them to maintain this area for original content.

It's been a bit since we've had singular legends get the chance to have a spotlight. And I think there's a good reason why Chupacabra's probably not part of the ensemble of Monstres; because of the variants of the legend that you can do a La Llorona esque house to highlight multiple forms and multiple takes of the same legend.

It has also been fan requested, and they have tested the idea before with the scarezone last year. It'd make sense to me as the next step for latin american houses (especially with Monstruos seemingly done after this year).

I still think DreamWorks Theater is something other than Blumhouse; but if they wanted to go through the trouble of promoting both FNAF2 and The Black Phone 2...Behind The Screams is unfortunately a valid option.

Does it make sense? No. I'd argue just have a photo op as the tram exit if you wanna do something, or maybe have The Grabber as just a roamer (or for RIP like last year).
