I’d still bet real money Scream is coming. Probably the unknown SS12 IP. Everything else I heard on March 30th has either been proven true through construction or at least shown up on spec maps, including stuff like the Klowns tram and Poltergeist repeat that wasn’t being discussed yet.

Unfortunately I would also bet WWE is still happening for the same reason, although I feel like out of every IP that’s the most likely to get a last minute replacement.

The only thing that scare me (No pun intended) is that the Unknown IP wasn’t seen on the updated spec map for Orlando. No way they’re not sharing Scream on both coasts.

Perhaps it's less popular with HHN's target demographic, but I imagine WWE is more mainstream overall.

Personally speaking, I had never heard of The Weeknd prior to the house at HHN.

I know WWE is popular, but there's no way someone who owns a bunch of streaming records is less mainstream.

The maze will have no line all night because WWE is fairly niche and nowhere near as popular as it was the last time they did a WWE maze and that maze is regarded as one of the worst in history.

This seems off to me. I don't watch WWE but I know the big names -- Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk... could probably name a few more if I really thought about it. The cultural osmosis must be pretty strong if it can reach me, which means it's not niche and has a big enough fanbase to warrant an HHN house.

Your other point is the thing that makes me doubt the rumor -- I agree it would be weird for an apparently irrelevant character like Wyatt to get a house. If Cody Rhodes or CM Punk were horror characters, I think it'd be a no-brainer. Maybe it is just a throwback to Undertaker, or Kane or something. I know WWE likes to lean on its history and nostalgia is a big part of the brand. I dunno.

I hate to burst bubbles here, but Nosferatu is another name for a vampire, not the name of the character.

The character in Nosferatu is Count Orlok.

Count Dracula is not typically addressed as Nosferatu, but the species Orlock is identified as is referred to as "Nosferatu". So I think it still stands...

EDIT: Worth Noting the name "Nosferatu" was created as a direct means of avoiding conflict with the title "Dracula" itself too (as it's a partial adaptation of it).

I think it is extremely unlikely that this occurs. If F13 is coming, it's almost certainly coming to both coasts.

True, but that scenario was a bit different.

Orlando almost never does exclusive IPs these days, with Beetlejuice only being a matter of circumstance, since it fell through at Hollywood.

Orlando also tends to avoid repeating IPs more than Hollywood, and they may have opted not to do TCM again because they had it just a couple years earlier.

Unlike Leatherface, Jason has the popularity to be a headliner for the event. If F13th is really within their grasp, I can't see a scenario where Hollywood wouldn't want it.
