I would love to see us expand back to the backlot Metro sets for an additional 3 mazes and tunnel scarezone. The event would be MASSIVE at that point and I know everyone would cry about the budget being spread thin, but this is the pie in the sky wishlist if the budget got bigger. 11 mazes and a Terror Tram would be such a great event. Expanding hours would help also. Personally I'd love to see the event kinda become an all day thing, coming in at 2pm with wristbands, have the indoor mazes open and some exclusive day time Horror Nights entertainment, then at 5pm, daytime guests empty out, and the scarezones, outside mazes and Tram open up.

Even if it was only weekend having the event open even at 4 PM would be nice

Its just hard to do everything now so if they add more houses we need more time to get it done in one night

Do the parks want you to be able to see all shows and attractions in one night? Or do they not care....I think I heard on here Fan Fest they wanted everyone to be able to hit everything in one night but not sure if HHN is the same

Hot take: I think the event is where it should be. I really don’t want to go to an event that has a bunch nah of houses that are full of black walls lol

Eleven houses is a LOT. Even Orlando doesn't have that many! I think eight is the perfect amount especially considering they will barely be able to accommodate eight as the park changes and grows.

I do think once the Fast and Furious coaster opens that should help soak in people.

In general, I'm leary of expanding the house count for Hollywood right now considering how in years past, expanded house counts correlated strongly with more black walls/budget saving measures in years past (the infamous 2017). That goes double considering the notable budget-saving measures this year, what with the two repeats and the cost-saving on the FNAF opening.

If they decide to up the budget, then great! They certainly sell enough early passes/express/deluxe/whatever to justify it. Until then, though...

True....FNAF couldn't even get a full budget and it was a headliner

I doubt it would be worth it....but they could use the Metro sets and have like a ton of outside mini mazes like back in the day but not sure if that would work or not but if they ever do want to make the event bigger maybe mini houses using mostly Original ideas and old props and some based on "cheaper" IPS like Blumhouse

If we’re going to get Metro back (Which I doubt we will anytime soon), it should be either H-Lot OR Metro. Opening up metro would help a ton, especially if they can get stage 747 back.

Don’t forget that the other half of Monstrous 3 was essentially La Llorona 4.0 so technically almost three repeats!

I'll be honest....if they are good houses like Scarecrow bring on repeats

If we got the OG ghostbusters house back...I would not be upset

I was not upset when Killer Clowns came back either

Idk man, something about that Killer Klowns maze in 2022 just felt so off compared to 2019. Maybe its because the maze felt so out of place in comparison to 2019's overall 80's theme. Maybe it's because a couple of details were actually taken away in 2022's version. Maybe its because almost all the water effects were no longer present in 2022's maze. It just kinda sucked.

lol

I mean, I doubt all the water effects so sounds like a plush to me....stinky water hitting me just sucks

I feel like compared to many on here, I just enjoy the sets, actors and how immersive it all is. So for me the 2022 was about as good

This happens a lot when you repeat a house while the original run is still fresh in everyone's memories (including the staff/cast). It's highly unlikely you'll get an enthusiastic, aggressive cast that matches the intensity of what made the original great. (Scarecrow this year seems to be an exception, in fairness - I had very solid runs in there.)

This year’s scarecrow and Holidayz ‘22 were the only exception as far as repeats go with good runthroughs.

The trick seems to be adding a soundtrack by Slash.
