Not when it's been devoid of announcements since the event ended last year. USH isn't like Orlando where it has something new to announce, open or begin to fill the void.

The only thing to pass the time is spinning the wheel of catastrophe to see what happens on the Studio Tour next.

I didn't have "guard rail crash" & "Earthquake doors" on my bingo card for the 60th

I guess I should've specified there's no GOOD recording of it lol no offense to this fellow. Known about this video for years (when it came out) but it's missing a lot of the elements.

Hmm.. while I do appreciate finally seeing a video for Hollywood's 2007 TCM house, I think I liked Orlando's version better (located in the Earthquake queue, no tent like Supercharged).

- Grandpa was in the wheelchair to the left as soon as you entered.
- The big metal door was a "Leatherface scare" where he'd slide it open/shut like in the film.
- Leatherface scareactors would graze their chainsaws on the windows ("outside") creating sparks.
- basement/tunnel chainsaw wall scare with strobes
- swinging body on a track (can't remember if it was a dummy or "victim")
- "over the fence" chainsaw scares
- the hanging sheets being the finale

Anyway. You get the idea. While I do like the TCM remake, I'm running on TCM fatigue after 2016, 2017 & 2021. It doesn't offer up anything "new". So it's just difficult to get hyped from this returning IP rumor.

A lot of stuff mentioned here was actually in the Hollywood maze. Like I said above, this video is a very poor representation. It's missing quite a few scares and a lot of sets weren't filmed properly.

Leatherface opening the sliding door in that first-ish scene was insane the first time I went through. Chainsaws back then were real without the blades so they'd hit stuff and it'd spark. There were some swinging bodies and definitely some reaching over the fence. Hanging sheets was the middle of our maze though -- but yeah, still fairly terrifying. When I went through, Leatherface was swinging around the chainsaw "dancing" like in the finale of the original film, just getting caught up in the sheets. Genuinely scary lol

Ah okay. That video made it seem very underwhelming compared to the nostalgic hype. Now it all makes sense

Someone go back in time with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus AI phone.. & get quality videos

What terror tram theme would you guys want instead of the rumored "BlumHouse Tram"? Would you prefer another original tram with a new tram icon or do you still want a IP tram but perhaps a different IP? I personally don't mind the tram theme it would be interesting to show how the Blum house tram would play out if that was the actual theme.

If they insist on shoving Blumhouse in every event, honestly might as well make it the Tram. It could potentially make it interesting -- unless they just make the whole thing Purge. Bonus, it would potentially make room for an original maze.

Another original Tram theme with a new Icon.. Harry and Larry have been great so far, it'd be interesting to see more characters in that vein..

If Tram is Blumhouse, it would make sense that they'd thrown in The Purgers in many of the areas even in Jupiters Claim, possibly throwing in The Grabber somewhere maybe in the beginning with his van and such. The purge being the tram in 2021, honestly to felt very lackluster.

It could be a fun experience. Seeing all of the Blum house characters on a terror tram. It could generally fun if done right. Does anyone remember the tram video/story for the purge tram. If I remember correctly didn't it have a woman pretending to beg for help before the guests get off the tram and she is actually revealed to be a Purger? What do you think of the intro/tram was it bad story writing or good story writing?

I thought it was alright, the tram could be better this year, so far Hollywood has had back to back good tram experiences, so this one, I'm not gonna fully doubt, just hope it doesn't just comes off lackluster and a good character to run with it.

Forget Hollywood Harry.

With the 60th Anniversary of the Studio Tour, they should just create a deranged & deceased Studio Tour guide zombie-fied ghost character that has haunted the backlot for years. He can never leave the backlot & if he has it his way, neither will you!

You'd think Murdy would want to start leading in some more clues about the tram but I totally understand that's probably the least of his priorities right now, I mean we already got our update on it but yeah, I don't see him really involving the 60th anniversary at all this year, although that concept sounds like something that I could see being pitched to him and doing well.

I don't expect anything remotely close to that "idea" happening. Besides, my inspiration was loosely spawned from the 1986 Terror Tram incident :eyes:o_O Although, the backlot has had multiple deaths during its long history, even before the Studio Tour emerged in 1964.

A haunted backlot gimmick has been a missed opportunity for the Terror Tram. Closest we have gotten is the Hollywood Harry fluff.

The three facades that are visible (Mummy, T-Pad & Curious George) don't give too many hints as to what they are yet.

After 2021 and some in 2022 I doubt Universal wants another fiasco like Halloween 3

TAROT would make a great maze! Check out the film. Murdy could make it a banger. Lots of characters to use plus the killings.

While the movie itself doesn't dive deep into its full potential & creativity, a loosely based concept would definitely be great if executed properly.

Do it as an IP? No. Do it as an original? Yes

However, my brain keeps imagining it just being "Holidayz in Hell 2.0" as far as style/execution. Instead of holiday postcards, it'd be a tarot card announcing each scene.
