Grave of Flesh haunted house is coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025

Universal has announced Grave of Flesh, a new original haunted house that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 34. Universal did not share much information outside of a summary of the house's synopsis: "Welcome to your funeral, where it’s about to go from bad to worse. You’ll enter the

Not what I was expecting! I was assuming it'd be like Deadly Unrest as a house but it seems like it's more about ghouls (in the proper corpse-eating sense) than ghosts.

Ngl I'm still really hyped for this house but the tone isn't exactly what I was expecting. Also not the biggest fan of that main monster design or whatever he is. Regardless the house still sounds really awesome, keep hearing this one will be really scary!

My one concern with the house would be if it was just generic zombies. Assuming they have more creative monsters, it should be amazing.

I think this was said somewhere else, but I like that while we have El Artista, we also have Toys/Grave that feel less story-based. Feels like those can focus more on atmosphere/scares than conveying a narrative. Of course, some houses can do it all well, but it’s a cool mix this year.

Yeah, the setting for this house isn't quite what I was expecting. Sounds like more of an underworld rather than graveyard? I''m sure we'll start in a graveyard at least!

Took the words right out of my mouth, it's giving more classic 90's/early 2000's HHN, and I like it!

yeah it seems like after the main character dies (us) were transported to the underworld where these graveyard ghouls rely and dig up the dead and feast but we make a run for it.

Yeah, I think El Artista is more of our ghost house this year, while this one leans into the creature side-almost like a Nightingales-style house. That’s way more exciting than another ghostly graveyard setup, which we've already seen both as a zone and a house over the past six years. I’m imagining something like an expanded version of the first few underground scenes in Poltergeist at some points to be honest.

This and El Artista are neck and neck for me right now, purely because I love the more "intense" houses-and I think these two will be the "scariest" we get this year.
