If this movie is a hit, how could Uni not put it in their parks? I mean it takes place in San Fran, just screw Disaster and put this in!

NOTE: I know this is easier said then done, with IP rights, size of building, etc.

This movie needs to be a hit so we can have Kong and Godzilla at the parks. Imagine the AA's they could do with Godzilla? Imagine being in the middle of a Giant AA battle? GAH!

Anyways, this movie looks great. Surprised me for sure. I've been following this project for a while... and I'm REALLY looking forward to it!

So I just saw a sneak preview of this and all I have to say is WOW!!! This movie is fantastic from beginning to end in almost every way. Imagine jaws and Jurassic park mixed with Godzilla. No shaky cam or screaming actors, pure suspense and shots that'll blow your mind. I saw it in IMAX 3D and my mind is blown. Never once was the movie boring, perfect blend of action and dialogue. Acting was amazing, definite must see. As a hardcore Godzilla fan who had doubts this movie delivered so well. Definite 9/10

PS. I definitely saw many scenes in this movie that screamed universal ride, I'm calling it now this will be the disaster replacement

so, on IMDB, godzilla has a 9/10 with nearly 7k people voting on it. Apparently this movie is no joke whatsoever. and rotten tomatoes gave it an 88

7,000 votes is extremely low. Most big blockbuster action movies are given high ratings or even spots in the Top 250 upon their release simply due to hype. Its box office numbers will be the real test of whether it's theme-park worthy or not.

Absolutely stoked. Seeing it this weekend.

Considering splurging for the 100ft IMAX screen in Manhattan.

Do it man, saw it on a little IMAX screen down here in Florida and when Godzilla roars the enitre theater shakes. It's insanely powerful and definitely worth the extra bucks

Godzilla is easily the best disaster movie in a long, long time. Great setpieces, characters you root for (even if they are one note), and a terrific score. It also has a great, old-school slow burn.

Definitely check it out.
