Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster (Opening 2026)

It's interesting that they decided to go the Supercharged lookalike route rather than hew closer to the much sleeker concept art from a few years back. Like with the coaster itself, I'm interested in how it'll be lit at night; with trees, neon, and cast shadows, it could still pop in the dark.

I like how USF Supercharged looks but that’s more right-sized. This looks… imposing

They'll just relocate the backlot Hollywood sign by Bates Motel & mount it onto the front of the building. Then add a neon sign that says "Drift"

It'll give it that GTA logo vibe.. "GTA: Hollywood Drift"

But like, realistically, what more could itlook like?

I think rather than one massive brick building, it could have been chunked up into several adjacent buildings with different colors/materials, and had some layering (i.e., shorter facades) at the guest scale in the foreground to make it less monolithic.

This would have created more of a LA district feel -- more texture, more complexity/visual exploration, and place-making to build around such as with a food truck with alley seating. I think that would have related better to the scale/approach of other neighborhoods in the area of USH (New York, French St.).

Although it still looks incredibly out of place it is definitely an improvement. The problem is that it clashes with the architecture style the Upper Lot went for (kinda like the NY facade existing awkwardly)

I think they will be loading in the trains this month—probably doing a pull-through too; but I doubt testing proper begins until they get the half pipes installed.
