They’ve launched multi day tickets with unlimited Epic visits for 2026:

Really hoping to hear something re APs soon - because if they continue with only single day tickets for passholders at current prices it could have been a mistake renewing.

I really hope we hear soon on AP options. I was hoping we'd get some information on Annual Pass with Volcano Bay and how the closure would affect them.

In the past week they've also extended many November closing hours from
9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. 2026 rates though, on comparable dates, are mostly higher,
as expected. Bottom line though, this is good news.

We're making a long weekend trip in early December, and the current closing time is 8PM. I'm curious to see if this changes.

Yes, I saw that the other day. Perhaps they'll extend that like they just did for many November dates. Seems like
they wait until a 30 day window to change stuff lately. They just released the Nov. CityWalk hours for November a
few days ago.

If you aren’t a local and are visiting for say a week and wanted to spend a few days at Epic, it would be cheaper to buy a four or five day ticket with unlimited access to epic than it would be to buy multiple discounted AP tickets. Not great for passholders.

I'm getting ready to cancel mine and switch to the competition. Like everyone else I know (who cancelled months ago) I wonder if they would have the audacity to raise AP rates and not include Epic. I'd imagine that would not go down well at all

Probably will be tons of AP cancellations, especially the most recent ones. Unfortunately, Epic doesn't have the attraction capacity
to allow open AP access without a strict Epic reservation only/ #visits limited policy. ....That capacity shortage is the gift that keeps
on giving, but in a bad way.

Question for all, what's a good indicator for when it's "ok" for the AP switch to turn on at Epic Universe? If we go off wait-times, the park is significantly far from what USF and IOA are custom to. Do we have to wait for Epic Universe to get a new attraction? Or will they need to reach a an average wait-time goal to greenlight APs?

Epic Universal Wait-Times (two graphs with and without Ministry) compared to USF/IOA. This data only includes E & D ticket attractions. USF and IOA generally lie between the 25-45 minute average wait-time, Epic has a significant range between 45-70.

Thanks to TouringPlans for the data.

I guess the question would be, what is Universal comfortable with before allowing APs?

Good comparison. My guess is the Epic wait times are higher than the Universal Execs. were expecting. They misread the tea leaves,
for whatever reasons. Their hands are tied.
