Looks like there will be EPA for onsite guests as well for preview dates.

Does EPA work for the day you check in too? Or do you already have to be checked in?

I will pass. I think it is annoying that rides will break and they take down stuff a lot during previews yet we are paying the same amount as normal. I was hoping for some major discounts for AP previews. Seems like a real stab in the back for AP holders that we won't be able to add Epic or even get a decent discount during previews.

Rides break down every day at every park. Whats up with the negative attitude?

Given the congestion that ensues every time Universal drops even one new ticket offering, I’m now starting to understand the rationale behind the piecemeal approach they’ve taken.

It’s still incredibly frustrating to be made to wait indefinitely for the tickets that my party want, though.

Man, those prices are steep for a preview.

Previews it is more than just normal. So I would have expected some sort of Preview discount.

I sometimes wonder if some of it is poor servers. In this case all the dates are still open. So while people went in, I would be curious how many are actually buying. Normally when I get into any AP queue, I don't see all dates available once it is my turn.

I think the issue is more that they're charging prices equivalent of a 1-day pass as other parks, while they know this park will have substantial operational issues or closures. They also list that certain areas might not be available entirely, so it's odd. It will not go over well if a land is shut down that day. I understand that things won't be operational, but a reduced price would help quell any complaints.

...I wonder if APs get parking included? If not... that's as scummy as charging people for parking during their first visit after buying an AP.

I think a more civil approach would be to release tickets based on annual pass ranking.

Premier gets a 1-day notice, Preferred the next, seasonal & value after. SeaWorld does it when they do previews, and it reduces the crowds during previews.

EDIT: The wording on the site is confusing... maybe hotel guests don't get EPA? Hopefully Brian can confirm

So it says preview tickets are available for both AP holders and resort guests, but it requires you to link an AP to purchase. Anyone know how resort guests are supposed to purchase?

No. The demand is there to facilitate the price. If you don't want to be at previews just wait until the opening.

They must be feeling pretty confident that things will fun fairly normally. At least that's what I'm hoping

I hope not, that's a short operating day. Only 10 hours.

Ok with that for previews, but beyond May 22... no thank you.

So much for passholders being special, lets add anyone that want to book a hotel stay.

Sorry, I should have clarified - I meant for operation to go until 9PM nightly!
