Instead of cementing it over I’d have like to have them use the same soft material used in the other play areas, make it green, and kept the reeds. It would’ve retained the swamp look and feel even if they couldn’t keep the splash pad functional.

This would've never happened if they had just kept the Ball Factory for Dreamworks Land /s

But seriously, what a rough look for this land if this is scrapped too.

Yeah - IDK what's going on with the pads. This was the same area as Curious George's splash area, but obviously redone. Hopefully, it's just a fix and not a removal.

I definitely saw it running throughout my two days in November.

I went to Epic twice in September and once in December, and Astronomica was running every time.

Is it possible that the actual piping/structure of the splash pads are the same from Kidzone, and they're just finally failing?

They really need to use the former Barney show building for a clone of Dream Works Theater/Kung Fu Panda. With USF being the “flex park” for events, that that would really come in handy for HHN and FFN (If that does make it out East).

I understand the screen fatigue for this park but USF could really use a flex venue despite that. Anyone know if this is the reason they haven’t done this??

They're currently using the space for a live Dreamworks show, which is solid and (to my knowledge) been well received.

I wasn't expecting much, but the Dreamworks show was actually a lot of fun.

It's greally good (but also never saw it IRL because I'm 39 and childless and don't want to be a creep).

When we went in November the Dreamworks land had solid crowds of young kids. Our two week visit in March had even better crowds back there. We actually sat through the Kung Fu Panda show. It was good and the kids were very active and seemed to have a blast. This land is for kids and seems to be quite successful. As Kidzone, it was always dead the times of year we went.
