What am I missing. That appears an omnimover track. What does it have to do with Light Cycles?

That was the track of the peoplemover in Disneyland. He is saying that they could reopen the peoplemover with Light Cycles. There was concept art for a peoplemover featuring Kuka arms. Let me see if I can find it.

---Update---

Found it: http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/2012/01/cracking-shanghai-disneyland-case.html

It was the PeopleMover. Those tracks right there are for Rocket Rods...

Here's a POV (it was really quite boring except for the launch and one of the turns).

There has been a rumor that the system may be converted back to the original PeopleMover featuring a TRON section... or use the lightcycle concept.

Ahh... I thought those looked like magnet propulsion thingys. Disneyland is such a different beast from what us east coasters understand it to maybe be. I shall never know.

From what I've seen, it looks like they are testing different lighting schemes and colors.

Considering it. All depends how much money I sink into my London trip.

Are they ever going to do anything to the back of those mountains? It's really visible from outside the park, and ugly as heck.

^I'd expect that at present time their only concern of view of the Cars Land mountains is that of paying customers inside the park.

Because so many people who drive past Disneyland haven't/aren't going to go there?? Also, who cares. It's still part of the park, and should be, if not themed, at least covered up.
