i guess i'm in the Minority(Report eyyyo) because this looks mid as hell for someone like Spielberg IMO.
From the Roland Emmerich School of Boring Reaction Shots to the Totally-Secret-Government-Base(TM) with more unnecessary lights and screens than a JJ Abrams Star Trek set, all the CGI animal shots make me think Disney Live-Action Remake (not a good thing), and especially that last shot that glides behind all the fakery with smooth precision like Coca Cola's AI Christmas Ads.
Let's just say i'm thoroughly underwhelmed and expected more out him given his monumental body of work. The only similar visual flair i'm seeing is coming from Kaminski (DP on this as he was on Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List) but most notably the shots with dialogue, as most of the action (and reaction) shots look stilted. People are claiming this is going to be the new Close Encounters? I sincerely doubt it.
Being Spielberg, it's a must-watch; But for me it's more to see if the trailer leaves the correct expectations. Truthfully, i'd rather go in with lower expectations and be pleasantly surprised to like it than go in with higher expectations and leave feeling defeated (War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones 4, and A.I. come to mind). To each their own, i'm glad everyone is hype for it, but i'm taking a step back and saying this trailer did absolutely nothing to entice me outside pure name-recognition.
