So I didn’t see until now but Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is $4 on Steam. This is an absolute STEAL. Buy it if you haven’t yet.

I'm absolutely not surprised with what's going on with Xbox. When you're essentially giving away the games you spent $150-200m dollars developing in a subscription service and then spending almost $100 *billion* dollars on giant publishers, this is the result you get. The math NEVER added up from day one with any of these moves, and Gamepass was never going to be sustainable. The courts approving the Activision/Blizzard deal was the beginning of the end for Xbox as we knew it. There are also rumors now that the Perfect Dark gamplay they showed at the last event wasn't even real, which makes this even more embarrassing.

I think today’s news is enough to confirm the gameplay wasn’t real even without rumors. It also confirms Xbox has a leadership problem. It also, ALSO confirms they think their fans are stupid and will get excited for new hardware after everything that’s happened lol. Say whatever you want about what Nintendo’s done with the Switch 2 but one thing you can’t say is that they haven’t made a product that’s actually compelling to a lot of people which is why they’re getting away with a good amount of the things people got mad about.

I actually blame OpenAI and their $10bn of Monopoly Money more than that. But yeah, THAT was also never really sustainable.
